Match the theme!

Using their creativity, imagination and sense of adventure, setting your play time around a certain theme can take youngsters on journeys to all kinds of exciting places – from magical castles and enchanted forests to the depths of the ocean and even into outer space! And with LEGO Builder, kids can expand their imagination even further…

Before making your LEGO models, why not celebrate the theme of the build by dressing up together? – or even decorating their room or den! If the theme is magic, you could dress up as witches and wizards. Or if it’s space, why not transform their bedroom into another planet with drawings, toys, trinkets and crafts. Exciting, right?

Creating an immersive LEGO experience in this way brings a whole new dimension to family play – and makes for fantastic group fun!

Enjoy a LEGO® playdate!

Playdates are great opportunities for kids to have fun with their friends, and for parents to catch up while also sharing moments with their young ones. And the perfect playdate activity? LEGO Builder…

Invite your child’s friend (or friends) over for a LEGO build-and-play session – the more the merrier!

Lay out a LEGO set for you all to get stuck into using Build Together on the LEGO Builder app. With this feature, each builder (big or small) will be given their own tasks to complete, allowing them to have heaps of fun making their model as a team.

The app’s instructions will carefully guide you every step of the way – divvying up tasks and allowing everyone to get involved!

Why not make it a regular group playdate? Children (or grown-ups) could take turns bringing a LEGO set for everyone to build together!

Build and build!

Den building is hugely popular with kids. They’re so much fun to make, and provide a secret spot to hide and play! And guess what – they also make the perfect environment for using the LEGO Builder app. So, let’s get building to get building!

Work together to build a secret den, using things you find in the house – blankets, furniture, pillows… whatever works! You could even make a den in the garden if the weather is nice. When the construction’s complete, have them head inside with their chosen LEGO set, load up LEGO Builder and get to building, but make sure there’s room for you too!

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again – we believe building together means building better. And yes, that goes for dens, too! As with the app, each builder could be assigned their own role for the den-making mission.

Play party!

Who doesn’t love a party? They’re a hit with both kids and adults alike! And what’s a great way to get any party started? Party games!

Musical Chairs, Pass the Parcel, Pin the Tail on the Donkey – we all know the classics. But did you know LEGO Builder makes for the perfect party game, too? Divide everyone into separate teams, each with their own LEGO set to complete. Then let the race begin! Using the app’s Build Together feature, each team must work together to complete their LEGO model as quickly as they can. Whichever team finishes first, wins!

Instead of organizing one big party game, you could also set up a LEGO play area, with some model sets and mobile devices, to access LEGO Builder. This will act as a fun party activity for kids and their parents to enjoy as and when they wish!

Summer builds!

When the weather is warm and inviting, encourage your youngsters to take their LEGO sets into the garden for some outdoor building together! Or why not grab a blanket and your mobile device and head to the local park? For some summer family fun, use the app’s Build Together mode and have everyone get involved in the action!
