Everything You Need to Know About LEGO® Islands in Fortnite

LEGO® Islands brings an array of fresh challenges, cozy comfort and competition for players of all ages to discover within Fortnite®

LEGO Islands offer new and exciting ways to play inside of Fortnite. These kid and family-friendly experiences offer even more fun and they’re available now for free within Fortnite, alongside LEGO Fortnite!

In this story, we’ll introduce you to LEGO Islands, show you how to find them and take you on a brief tour of some experiences.

What are LEGO Islands?

Fortnite has several experiences, including Battle Royale, Fortnite Festival, LEGO Fortnite and Rocket Racing. It also has LEGO Islands, which offer new ways to play in smaller, more focused and directed experiences. And some of those experiences come directly from the LEGO Group.

LEGO Islands offer a world of exciting adventure games! Whether your child wants to explore purr-fect places with a furry companion in LEGO Cat Island Adventure or train to become a Spinjitzu master in LEGO Battle Arena, there’s a perfect game for every imagination.

Players can experience LEGO Islands as LEGO Styles—which are LEGO versions of Fortnite Outfits. If your child already owns these outfits in Fortnite, they can now use them in LEGO Fortnite, too! Outfits are also available for purchase, offering even more ways to customize in-game adventures.

How to find and start playing LEGO Islands

There are several ways to find LEGO Islands, including on the Fortnite discovery page, and using 12 digit Island codes to find a specific one. Players can also access LEGO Islands via Fortnite’s search menu. Just navigate to the magnifying glass icon. From there, take the following steps to see all of the LEGO Group’s island creations.

1. Click into the search box.
2. Type in “thelegogroup” and search. You’ll see the LEGO Islands that the LEGO Group have created.
3. Select the LEGO Island you’d like to start playing, and you’ll see a new menu with the LEGO Island’s details.
4. Click the yellow Play to begin the game.

Creators outside of the LEGO Group can also design and publish their own LEGO Islands within Fortnite, which you can see if you click the “LEGO® Islands” tile in Fortnite’s Search menu.

Mystery of the Monolith

The Monolith, a mysterious LEGO creature has been lurking in the shadows... It awaits in Fortnite as four new LEGO Islands arrive throughout October. Players can get closer to the mystery by exploring each island where they’ll encounter the Monolith and a quest where players can uncover the secret!

The Monolith was spotted in our first two islands on the haunted grounds of LEGO Chasers vs Hunters and LEGO Monster Fishing. If you dare to solve the mystery, then keep an eye out for our two upcoming islands – LEGO Parkour Worlds (coming out on 24th October) and LEGO Dark Space (coming out on 30th October).

LEGO Monster Fishing

A village in disrepair, isolated and surrounded by an ominous frozen lake with a secret lurking beneath - a terrifying monster that swims and stalks in the icy water. It’s not a horror movie – it’s LEGO Monster Fishing, a LEGO Island that challenges players to grab their fishing poles, brave the thin ice, and save a village.

In this survival-focused adventure that you can play alone or with friends, you’ll take on the role of a hero with a fishing pole. Help to rebuild the village by completing various quests from villagers who are scattered across the frozen wasteland.

So get ready to hone your fishing skills, brave the lake, and collect some fish. Just watch out for the monster below – if you get eaten, so does everything you’ve caught, and you’ll have to fish again to refill your inventory!

LEGO Chasers vs Hunters

LEGO Chasers vs Hunters is a competitive team shooter.

This LEGO Island splits 16 players into two teams – the Dream Chasers and the Nightmare Hunters – with 8 on each side. Using LEGO weapons, you must shoot two things: your opponents

and targets scattered around the map. The team that controls the most targets at the end of the match wins.

LEGO Chasers vs Hunters’ playful yet effective weapons include a Grappler from LEGO Fortnite, a Snowball Launcher, a Goo Gun, a Burst Pulse Rifle and a Kymera Ray Gun.

When you convert targets, you’ll earn dream sand, which you can use to dream craft weapons and items. Eliminate enemies to earn Coins – and the bigger the target eliminated, the bigger the reward received. Don’t worry if you’re the one who gets eliminated: Just respawn, craft some more weapons, and skydive down to rejoin the battle.

LEGO Chasers vs Hunters lets players make progress and earn achievements for their in-game actions, so they should be sure to interact with Mateo or the Nightmare King to see what they’ve accomplished.

LEGO Chasers vs Hunters transports players to the Candy Realm from the LEGO DREAMZzz™ universe. The LEGO DREAMZzz franchise includes a fantasy-infused TV show and exciting new physical sets. The show follows a group of ordinary kids who find themselves in a magical world where the stuff of dreams – like a world full of candy and everyone’s favorite foods – becomes reality. LEGO Cat Island Adventure

In LEGO Cat Island Adventure, you arrive on what the game describes as the “purr-fect place to explore with a furry friend.” What you do next really is up to you. There are no right or wrong answers, because this cozy adventure is designed to be stress-free.

That said, the island you find yourself on is full of items that felines love. It won’t take long to find an adorable cat and do things that make them happy. Explore the beach, build cat toys, catch some dinner, swim through waterfalls – do whatever you want at your own pace, all while deepening your bond with your furry little friend.

LEGO Raft Survival

LEGO Raft Survival is a battle between players and a pirate ship, set inside of a bathtub. Your job in this action-packed adventure that features the iconic LEGO Pirates theme: Survive attacks, gather floating resources, and repair a raft that’s always being destroyed. Just make sure that you don’t fall into the water, or the swarming sharks will attack!

The longer you survive, the more challenging the attacks become, so grab some friends and team up for nautical victory!

LEGO Obby Fun

LEGO Obby Fun is an obstacle course built inside of Fortnite using digital LEGO bricks and elements. LEGO designers created the whimsical courses that challenge players to run, jump and survive their way through colorful creations, alone or with friends.

Pay close attention while playing, and you may recognize that the obstacle courses are constructed of elements from LEGO Friends, LEGO City, LEGO NINJAGO® and LEGO DREAMZzz™.
