Where can I spend my LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card?

LEGO Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards may be used on LEGO.com, by phone order or in LEGO Stores. LEGO Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards cannot be used in any LEGOLAND parks or LEGOLAND Discovery Centres or for the purchase of LEGO® products at third-party retailers or stores.

Do LEGO Gift Cards or e-Gift Cards ever expire?

Except by law, no. If there is value remaining on your LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card, it will not expire. There are no fees applied. You can check the balance of your LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card online any time by visiting https://LEGO.com/Gift-cards/balance. You can also check the balance of your LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card at any LEGO store.

How do I spend a LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card?

To redeem a LEGO Gift Card or LEGO e-Gift Card on LEGO.com, at the checkout select Gift Card as the payment method and enter the Gift Card number and PIN code in the appropriate fields.

To redeem a LEGO Gift Card or LEGO e-Gift Card over the phone, Customer Service will ask you for your 19-digit Card number and PIN code.

To redeem a LEGO Gift Card or LEGO e-Gift Card for LEGO Store purchases, present your LEGO Gift Card or image of your LEGO e-Gift Card to the Sales Associate who will process your payment.

If the Gift Card covers the cost of your order, we will place any remaining balance back in a Gift Card account accessible with your Gift Card or e-Gift Card number. The next time you place an order, you will be able to use that number again together with the PIN to obtain the remaining balance on your Gift Card.

If the cost of your order exceeds the amount of your Gift Card, you must pay for the remaining balance of the order using a valid payment method. We do not accept partial payment by invoice. LEGO Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards can’t be spent in conjunction with PayPal.

Is there a minimum or maximum value that can be loaded onto a LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card?

In Germany the minimum value is €10. Additional funds can be added in €5 increments up to a maximum of €250.

Can I use more than one LEGO Gift Card/e-Gift Card at a time?

You may use up to three LEGO Gift Cards or LEGO e-Gift Cards on a single order in LEGO.com, LEGO Stores and orders placed over the phone.

Can I return a LEGO Gift Card or eGift Card?

LEGO e-Gift Cards and LEGO Gift Cards bought on LEGO.com are subject to the same Right of Withdrawal as all other products sold on LEGO.com. Please see http://www.lego.com/page/terms-and-conditions point 6. LEGO Gift Cards bought in LEGO Stores can’t be returned except as required by law.

Will I earn LEGO INSIDER Points when I buy a LEGO Gift Card/e-Gift Card?

LEGO INSIDER Points are not earned on the purchase of a LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card but are earned when the LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card is spent on LEGO products.

If I order on LEGO.com, how long does it take to deliver a LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card?

Our e-Gift Cards will normally show up in the recipient’s inbox in less than an hour. Our LEGO physical Gift Cards usually arrive within four to seven business days. These are sent by regular mail and aren’t trackable. If you’re experiencing delays, or accidentally delete the email message with your LEGO e-Gift Card, please call us at 0800 783 5346, and we’ll resend the email. 

What if my e-Gift Card or Gift Card does not arrive?

If the intended recipient of a LEGO e-Gift Card claims they never received the e-Gift Card, it is possible that they either accidentally deleted the email or may be blocking email from certain addresses. Users of ISPs, such as AOL and Hotmail, have the option of blocking all email messages that originate outside of their domain. If you think this might be the case, please contact the gift recipient first to make sure their inbox is configured to accept emails from LEGO.com.

If the LEGO e-Gift Card was in fact blocked, please contact our Customer Service Representative for assistance at 0800 783 5346. Please have the following information when you call:
Order number
Billing name and address of the buyer of the e-Gift Card
Name of the recipient
Email address to which the e-Gift Card was sent
Credit card information used to purchase the e-Gift Card

If the Gift Card ordered from LEGO.com does not arrive, please contact customer services on 0800 783 5346.

How do I cancel or return merchandise purchased with a LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card?

The same way you return all other LEGO merchandise. If you request a refund on an item, you will be issued a LEGO Gift Card in the amount of the refund.

LEGO System A/S, Aastvej 1, 7190 Billund, Denmark, business registration number 47458714, is the issuer of the LEGO Gift cards/e-Gift Cards bought on LEGO.com for use in United Kingdom. LEGO System A/S can be contacted by phone no. + 45 79 50 60 70.

LEGO Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards issued for use in Germany, are issued by LEGO System A/S in EUR € and can be used in Germany only. LEGO Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards purchased on LEGO.com can be used in LEGO stores in Germany, on LEGO.com and for telephone orders and only in accordance with the LEGO.com online store Terms and Conditions.

LEGO GmbH and LEGO System A/S are both part of the LEGO Group of companies. When reference in these Rules and Regulations is made to “The LEGO Group” a reference is made to LEGO GmbH for LEGO Gift Cards and LEGO System A/S for LEGO e-Gift Cards and LEGO Gift Cards.

LEGO Gift Cards/e-Gift Cards are to be used toward the purchase of products available in the LEGO online store (LEGO.com/DE), at LEGO Stores, and in the printed catalogue covering LEGO products available in Germany. LEGO Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards can be redeemed at LEGO.com, for phone orders or at the LEGO Stores. LEGO Gift Cards/e-Gift Cards are redeemable for merchandise including shipping charges (online only) and VAT directly related to the merchandise only.

LEGO Gift Cards or LEGO e-Gift Cards cannot be used in any LEGOLAND parks or LEGOLAND Discovery Centers or for the purchase of LEGO® products at third-party retailers or stores.

The LEGO Group reserves the right to correct the balance of a LEGO Gift Card/e-Gift Card if it finds out that a billing error has occurred and disclaims all liability for any such billing errors.

LEGO Gift Cards/e-Gift Cards cannot be returned and cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law.

Any unused balance will remain in the recipient's LEGO Gift Card/e-Gift Card account.

If your order exceeds the amount of your LEGO Gift Card/e-Gift Card, you must pay for the balance with another valid method of payment. LEGO Gift Cards /e-Gift Cards can’t be spent in conjunction with Paypal.

The LEGO Group is not responsible for the content of text messages accompanying Gift Cards/e-Gift Cards. The buyer of the LEGO Gift Card/e-Gift Card assumes all responsibility for personal messages accompanying Gift Cards/e-Gift Cards.

The LEGO Group will have the right to close customer accounts and request alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained LEGO Gift Card/e-Gift Card is either redeemed through LEGO.com or redeemed and used to make purchases on LEGO.com.

The LEGO Group reserves the right to limit quantities of LEGO Gift Cards/e-Gift Cards purchased by any person or entity.

INSIDER points are not earned for the purchase of LEGO Gift cards/e-Gift Cards. However, INSIDER points will be earned on purchases made with gift cards at the time the gift card is redeemed in accordance with the terms and conditions of the LEGO INSIDER program. LEGO Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards can’t be purchased with INSIDER points.

In the event of any liability on the part of the LEGO Group, its agents or distributors due to a slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, LEGO’s liability will be limited to typically foreseeable damages.

Nothing in this section shall exclude the LEGO Group, its agents or distributors from liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, gross negligent behavior or for any other liability whose limitation is prohibited by law.

These Rules and Regulations and all matters arising out of or relating to these Rules and Regulations are governed by, and construed in accordance with, German law without regard to the conflict of law provisions thereof to the extent such principles or rules would require or permit the application of the laws or any jurisdiction other than those of Germany.

Conditions of Use

Online Redemption
If you want to redeem your LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card online, simply place the items you wish to purchase in your shopping bag by clicking the Add to bag button next to the desired item(s) and then proceed to checkout.

On the second page of checkout (Payment page) there will be a Gift Card section following your order summary with fields to enter your Gift Card number and PIN or e-Gift Card number.

Enter your Gift Card number and PIN or e-Gift Card number and hit APPLY. (Your Gift Card or e-Gift Card will not be applied if you do not hit Apply before checking out.) The page will then refresh and automatically apply your Gift Card or e-Gift Card amount to your order.

If the Gift Card or e-Gift Card covers the cost of your order, we will place any remaining balance back in a Gift Card account accessible with your Gift Card or e-Gift Card number. The next time you place an order, you will be able to use that number again to obtain the remaining balance on your Gift Card or e-Gift Card.

LEGO Gift Card and e-Gift Card Conditions of Use
You may use a LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card to pay for any item sold on LEGO.com or in the LEGO Catalogue except for other gift cards. LEGO Gift Cards only may also be used in the LEGO Stores. LEGO Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards are redeemable for merchandise only, unless cash redemption is permitted by law.

Redemption Overview
To redeem a LEGO Gift Card, you’ll need the 19-digit number and 4-digit PIN code found on the back of the card. When you receive your plastic LEGO Gift Card, just scratch off the silver PIN box to see your PIN code.

To redeem a LEGO e-Gift Card, you’ll need the 19-digit number from your LEGO e-Gift Card email.

Here is where to find the necessary numbers on your LEGO Gift Card and e-Gift Card:

On LEGO Gift Cards: The LEGO Gift Card 19-digit number will be on the lower left side of the back of the card. The 4-digit PIN code will be on the lower right side of the back of the card, beneath the silver scratch-off area.
On LEGO e-Gift Cards, HTML-format: The 19-digit number will appear at the top right of the email.
On LEGO e-Gift Cards, Text format: The 19-digit number will appear after the introductory message, between the dotted lines, next to the phrase e-Gift Card Number.

Phone Order Redemption
If you want to redeem your LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card by phone order, simply give your LEGO Gift Card number and PIN or LEGO e-Gift Card number to the Customer Service Representative.

In-Store Redemption
If you want to redeem your LEGO Gift Card at one of the LEGO Stores, simply present your LEGO Gift Card to the Sales Associate. LEGO e-Gift Cards may not be redeemed in-store at this time. LEGO Gift Cards may not be redeemed at any LEGOLAND location.

e-Gift Card Delivery Problems
If the intended recipient of a LEGO e-Gift Card claims he/she never received the e-Gift Card, it is possible that he/she either accidentally deleted the email or may be blocking email from certain addresses.
