As Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer, Loren I. Shuster leads the People, Places, and Culture organisation, delivering on the LEGO Group’s People Promise, enabling all employees to succeed and grow together.
He oversees the company’s people strategy to attract, develop, and retain talent and ensuring they have workplaces in which they can thrive. He is also responsible for the LEGO Group’s social responsibility efforts which focuses on developing children’s critical skills with learning through play initiatives, in addition to the company’s Corporate Brand Communications function which works to build and protect the LEGO brand.
Loren joined the LEGO Group in 2014 as Chief Commercial Officer, bringing with him a range of experience including commercial, marketing, and general management from his senior leadership positions within commercial and marketing at Google, Nokia and other multinationals. In 2017, he stepped into his current role as Chief People Officer of the LEGO Group.
Loren is a member of the Board of Directors for Boku Inc. - a leading provider of mobile-first payment solutions. He is also a member of the International Advisory Board of the Institute of Business Ethics.
He holds an MBA and Executive Master's degree in Organisational Psychology from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University.
