Redesigning the LEGO® Leicester Square store

To summarize the brick-built magic that awaits in the revamped LEGO Leicester Square store is no easy task… But how did this all happen? Project manager Chad Pelletier opens the doors on the process he and his team underwent to create this expansive LEGO wonderland inside the world’s largest LEGO store.

The flagship store reopened its doors in August 2022 and has blown away LEGO fans of all ages since! From an iconic double-decker bus built with 270,884 bricks to a gigantic LEGO Big Ben, the city of London is the backdrop for the new stories that have been cleverly crafted and displayed during the store’s speedy, yet extensive, redesign. Take a seat in Agent 007’s brick-built Aston Martin, marvel at the rainbow-colored Tree of Discovery, spot your friendly neighborhood Spiderman, and practice spells with the extensive LEGO Harry Potter™ theme running throughout.
