Rubeus Hagrid™, the half-giant Hogwarts™ Gamekeeper

Rubeus Hagrid™, the half-giant Hogwarts™ Gamekeeper

Rubeus Hagrid™ is the Gamekeeper and Keeper of Keys and Grounds at the Hogwarts™ School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. A former Hogwarts student who was expelled over a serious misdemeanor he didn’t commit, Hagrid remained at the request of Albus Dumbledore and was trained in gamekeeping and allowed to live on the school grounds.

Rubeus Hagrid is half giant, half human and all heart. He stands at about twelve feet tall, is incredibly strong and is prone to tears when he gets emotional. He is very loyal to Dumbledore – and gets angry if anyone dare insult the Hogwarts headmaster – and devoted to Harry Potter™, who sees him as part mentor and part father-figure.

Hagrid was given the task of finding Harry and bringing him to Hogwarts when Harry first began his magical training. He made an immediate impression on Harry, as he was the first person Harry could remember to show him any kindness.

Hagrid is a large part of the Harry Potter saga, in every way. Not surprisingly, the character also features heavily in the movies’ merchandizing material, including a number of LEGO® playsets.

LEGO® Harry Potter™ 75947 Hagrid’s Hut
