Get it right every time with a LEGO® Gift Card

To redeem a LEGO e-Gift Card over the phone, Customer Service will ask you for your 19-digit Card number and PIN code.

If the e-Gift Card covers the cost of your order, we will place any remaining balance back in a Gift Card account accessible with your e-Gift Card number. The next time you place an order, you will be able to use that number again together with the PIN to obtain the remaining balance on your e-Gift Card.

LEGO System A/S is part of the LEGO Group of companies. When reference in these Rules and Regulations is made to “The LEGO Group” a reference is made to LEGO System A/S for LEGO e-Gift Cards. LEGO e-Gift Cards and unused portions of LEGO e-Gift Cards do not have an expiry date except where required by law.

LEGO e-Gift Cards can be redeemed at LEGO.com and for phone orders. A LEGO e-Gift Card can only be used in the country where it was purchased.

LEGO e-Gift Cards cannot be used in any LEGOLAND parks or LEGOLAND Discovery Centers or for purchase of LEGO® products at third party retailers or stores.

LEGO e-Gift Cards are redeemable for merchandise including shipping charges (online only) and VAT directly related to the merchandise only.

The maximum purchase and total balance of any LEGO e-Gift Card is 400€ (four hundred EUR).

LEGO e-Gift Cards cannot be returned and cannot be exchanged for cash except where it is required by law. This does not affect your right to withdraw from a purchase contract if you have purchased LEGO e-Gift Cards in a distance or off-premises contract (to the extent such right applies).

Any unused balance will remain on the LEGO e-Gift Card and can be used toward a future purchase. Unused balances on LEGO e-Gift Cards are not transferrable. LEGO e-Gift Cards are not reloadable.

LEGO reserves the right to correct the balance of a LEGO e-Gift Card if a billing error has occurred and disclaims all liability for any such billing errors.

If your order exceeds the amount of your LEGO e-Gift Card, you must pay for the balance at the time of purchase with another valid method of payment. LEGO e-Gift Cards may not be used in conjunction with PayPal.

The LEGO Group is not responsible for LEGO e-Gift Cards that are lost, stolen, destroyed or undelivered because of technical difficulties or inaccurate information, which includes, but is not limited to, physical address and email address. The LEGO Group is not responsible for the content of text messages accompanying e-Gift Cards. The buyer of the LEGO e-Gift Card assumes all responsibility for personal messages accompanying e-Gift Cards.

The LEGO Group has the right to close customer accounts and request alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained LEGO e-Gift Card redeemed and used to make purchases on LEGO.com. LEGO reserves the right to cancel a LEGO e-Gift Card if it believes the LEGO e-Gift Card was obtained through fraudulent or unauthorized means. The LEGO Group reserves the right to limit quantities of LEGO e-Gift Cards purchased by any person or entity.

LEGO INSIDER points are not earned for the purchase of LEGO e-Gift Cards. However, LEGO INSIDER points will be earned on purchases made with gift cards at the time the gift card is redeemed in accordance with the terms and conditions of the LEGO INSIDER program. www.LEGO.com/Insider/terms.

In the event of any liability on the part of The LEGO Group its agents or distributors due to a slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, LEGO’s liability will be limited to typically foreseeable damages.

Nothing in this section shall exclude The LEGO Group, its agents or distributors from liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, gross negligent behavior or for any other liability whose limitation is prohibited by law.

If you want to redeem your LEGO e-Gift Card online, simply place the items you wish to purchase in your shopping bag by clicking the Add to bag button next to the desired item(s) and then proceed to checkout.

To redeem a LEGO e-Gift Card, you’ll need the 19-digit number and 4-digit PIN code from your LEGO e-Gift Card email.

On the second page of checkout (Payment page) there will be a LEGO e-Gift Card section following your order summary with fields to enter your LEGO e-Gift Card number and PIN. Enter your e-Gift Card number and PIN and hit “Apply Gift Card”. (Your e-Gift Card will not be applied if you do not hit “Apply Gift Card” before checking out.) The page will then refresh and automatically apply your LEGO e-Gift Card amount to your order.

If the LEGO e-Gift Card covers the cost of your order, any remaining balance will continue to be available for use in your LEGO e-Gift Card account.

If the cost of your order exceeds the amount of your LEGO e-Gift Card, you must pay for the balance of the order with another valid payment method. We do not accept partial payment by invoice or PayPal.

Redemption of a LEGO e-Gift Card by Phone Order

If you want to redeem your LEGO e-Gift Card by phone order, simply give your LEGO e-Gift Card number and PIN to the Customer Service Representative.

Redemption of a LEGO e-Gift Card in a LEGO Store

LEGO eGift Cards can’t be spent in any store in Finland.

LEGO e-Gift Card Delivery Problems

If the intended recipient of a LEGO e-Gift Card claims they didn’t receive the e-Gift Card, it is possible that they either accidentally deleted the email or may be blocking email from certain addresses. Users of ISPs, such as AOL and Hotmail, have the option of blocking all email messages that originate outside of their domain. If you think this might be the case, please contact the gift recipient first to make sure their inbox is configured to accept emails from LEGO.com.
