Where can I spend my LEGO Gift Card or LEGO e-Gift Card?

You can spend any LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card bought in the United States or Canada on any LEGO.com website in the United States or Canada or any LEGO Store in the United States or Canada (excluding LEGOLAND® locations). You’ll be charged in the currency of the country you’re redeeming the card in. Behind the scenes, a market rate currency exchange calculation will take place. Any remaining balance on your LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card will be in the currency that the card was originally issued.

Do LEGO Gift Cards or e-Gift Cards ever expire?

Except by law, no. If there is value remaining on your LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card, it will not expire. There are no fees applied. You can check the balance of your LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card online any time by visiting https://LEGO.com/Gift-cards/balance. You can also check the balance of your LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card at any LEGO store.

How do I spend a LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card?

To redeem a LEGO Gift Card or LEGO e-Gift Card on LEGO.com, at the checkout select Gift Card as the payment method and enter the Gift Card number and PIN code in the appropriate fields.

To redeem a LEGO Gift Card or LEGO e-Gift Card over the phone, Customer Service will ask you for your 19-digit Card number and PIN code.

To redeem a LEGO Gift Card or LEGO e-Gift Card for LEGO Store purchases, present your LEGO Gift Card or image of your LEGO e-Gift Card to the Sales Associate who will process your payment.

If the Gift Card covers the cost of your order, we will place any remaining balance back in a Gift Card account accessible with your Gift Card or e-Gift Card number. The next time you place an order, you will be able to use that number again together with the PIN to obtain the remaining balance on your Gift Card.

If the cost of your order exceeds the amount of your Gift Card, you must pay for the remaining balance of the order using a valid payment method. We do not accept partial payment by invoice. LEGO Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards can’t be spent in conjunction with PayPal.

Is there a maximum or minimum value that can be loaded onto a LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card?

When buying a Gift Card or e-Gift Card on LEGO.com in US the maximum value that can be loaded is $500 USD.  When buying a Gift Card or e-Gift Card on LEGO.com in Canada the maximum value that can be loaded is $500 CAD.  When buying a LEGO Gift Card in LEGO stores in US, the maximum value that that can be loaded is $250 USD. Gift Cards bought in one transaction will be limited to a maximum value of $500 USD.  When buying a LEGO Gift Card in LEGO stores in Canada, the maximum value that that can be loaded is $250 CAD. Gift Cards bought in one transaction will be limited to a maximum value of $500 CAD. 

How many LEGO Gift Cards or LEGO e-Gift Cards can I use at the same time?

You may use up to three LEGO Gift Cards or LEGO e-Gift Cards on a single order.

Can I reload my LEGO Gift Card?

Yes! You can reload your physical LEGO Gift Card here. Gift Cards can’t be reloaded in LEGO Stores. e-Gift Cards can’t be reloaded in LEGO Stores or on LEGO.com.

If I order on LEGO.com, how long does it take to deliver a LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card?

LEGO Gift Cards usually arrive within 4 to 7 business days in US. In Canada they may take up to 14 days to arrive. They’re sent by regular mail and aren’t trackable. Our e-Gift Cards will normally show up in the recipient’s inbox in less than 60 minutes.

What if my e-Gift Card does not arrive?

If the intended recipient of a LEGO e-Gift Card claims he/she never received the e-Gift Card, it is possible that he/she either accidentally deleted the email or may be blocking email from certain addresses. Users of some internet service providers have the option of blocking all email messages that originate outside of their domain. If you think this might be the case, please contact the gift recipient first to make sure his/her email is configured to accept emails from LEGO.com. If the LEGO e-Gift Card was in fact blocked, please contact our Customer Service Representative for assistance at:

How do I return merchandise purchased with a LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card?

You can make a return the same way you would for any LEGO merchandise. If you request a refund on an item, you’ll be issued a LEGO Gift Card in the amount of the refund.

Will I earn INSIDER points when I buy a Gift Card or e-Gift Card?

Unfortunately, INSIDER points can’t be earned on the purchase of a Gift Card or e-Gift Card. But great news, INSIDER points can be earned when the Gift Card or e-Gift Card is spent.

LEGO Gift Cards/e-Gift Cards and unused portions of LEGO Gift Cards/e-Gift Cards do not have an expiration date except where required by law.

LEGO Gift Cards/e-Gift Cards are to be used toward the purchase of products listed in the LEGO online shop (LEGO.com), at LEGO Stores, and in the printed catalogue. LEGO Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards can be redeemed at LEGO.com for phone orders or in LEGO Stores.

LEGO Gift Cards/e-Gift Cards are redeemable only for merchandise.

LEGO Gift Cards/e-Gift Cards cannot be used in any LEGOLAND® parks or LEGOLAND Discovery Centers or for the purchase of LEGO® products at third-party retailers or stores.

The LEGO Group reserves the right to correct the balance of a LEGO Gift Card/e-Gift Card if it believes that a billing error has occurred and disclaims all liability for any such billing errors.

LEGO Gift Cards/e-Gift Cards cannot be returned and cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law.

Any unused balance will remain in the recipient's LEGO Gift Card/e-Gift Card account.

If your order exceeds the amount of your LEGO Gift Card/e-Gift Card, you must pay for the balance with another valid method of payment.

LEGO Gift Card cash value is 1/10 of one penny.

You may use a LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card to pay for any item sold on LEGO.com, in LEGO Stores and in our LEGO catalog except for other gift cards. LEGO Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards are redeemable for merchandise only, unless cash redemption is required by law.

Where to find your Gift Card PIN code

To redeem a physical LEGO Gift Card, you’ll need the 19-digit number and 4-digit PIN code found on the back of the card. When you receive your LEGO Gift Card, just scratch off the silver PIN box to see your PIN code. The LEGO Gift Card 19-digit number will be on the lower left side of the back of the card. The 4-digit PIN code will be on the lower right side of the back of the card, beneath the silver scratch-off area.

To redeem a LEGO e-Gift Card, you’ll need the 19-digit number and 4-digit PIN from your LEGO e-Gift Card email. If your email is in HTML format, the 19-digit number will appear at the top right of the email. If it’s in text format, the 19-digit number will appear after the introductory message, between the dotted lines, next to the phrase ‘e-Gift Card Number.’

Redeeming your Gift Card online

If you’d like to redeem your LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card online, place the items you wish to purchase in your shopping bag by clicking the Add to Bag button. When you’re ready to check out, click on the little bag icon at the top right of the page. Then, click the Checkout Securely button.

After you’ve entered your shipping address and contact info, click on the Continue to Payment button. In the Pay with Gift Card section, enter your LEGO Gift Card number and PIN Code and click Apply Gift Card. (Make sure you click this button, or your Gift Card won’t be applied to your order!) The page will then refresh and automatically apply your Gift Card or e-Gift Card amount to your order.

If the Gift Card or e-Gift Card covers the cost of your order, we’ll place any remaining balance back in a Gift Card account accessible with your Gift Card or e-Gift Card number. The next time you place an order, you’ll be able to use that number again to obtain the remaining balance on your Gift Card or e-Gift Card.

Redeeming your Gift Card over the phone

To use your LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card on a phone order, give your LEGO Gift Card number and PIN or LEGO e-Gift Card number to our friendly Customer Service team and they’ll apply it to your order.

Redeeming your Gift Card at a LEGO Store

If you’d like to use your LEGO Gift Card or e-Gift Card at one of our LEGO Stores, simply present it to the Brick Specialist when you check out. The PIN will be required. LEGO Gift Cards and eGift Cards may not be redeemed at any LEGOLAND® location.

Having trouble with your e-Gift Card?
