Anyone can make a LEGO® car that doesn’t burst into pieces when it crashes. But what about making one so flimsy that it barely stays together at the best of times? Grab your bricks and get your friends – who can make the most smashable car?

Grab your bricks
Let's get started by making sure you and your family have got all the car parts you might need: wheels, tires, axles, steering wheels, windscreens and so on.

Make your flimsy car
First build the base of your car and attach the wheels. Then build up. How can you make it flimsy? Try connecting pieces on single studs so they’re a bit wobbly.

Let's go!
Line up facing a wall (or something hard and heavy). When everyone’s ready, give your car a good push straight towards it... Be careful though; push too hard and your car might fall apart before it gets there!

How many pieces did your car break into when it crashed into the wall? The winning car is the flimsiest: the one that breaks into the most pieces.
