  Make some animal cards

  

  Cut up a sheet of card into postcard-sized pieces. Draw different animals on each card. You’ll need about five per person.

  Choose 20 bricks each

  

  Make sure you get a variety of pieces. Remember you don’t know what you’re going to build yet, so don’t go choosing just one kind of brick.

  Now put one hand behind your back

  

  Ha! Weren’t expecting that were you? Now pick a card and build that animal. You’ve got five minutes.

  Pick another card

  

  Now you’ve got five minutes to take apart your last animal and build the new one. Remember to keep one hand behind your back.

  Keep going!

  

  You’re getting the hang of this now, right? Pick one more card. Take apart your last animal and build the new one. How fast can you do it this time?
