Ever found something slightly out of reach? Ever thought, hey if only my fingers were a little longer? Then golly is this the invention for you: the "reach-further-er"... Grab some bricks and you’ll be reaching things a bit further away in no time!

Grab some bricks

Build your reach-further-er
Use overlapping bricks and plates to make a long reaching device – aim for at least 30cm. Will you build upwards or sideways? Which is stronger?

Add a pointy bit at the end
You could use a cone, a bar or a Technic™ axle. Whatever works for you.
- ステップ 4
Use your reach-further-er to type your name
How far away can you stand and still spell out your name? Can you stand further away than your friends and still reach? (If you haven’t got a keyboard you can use, draw one out with some help from a grown-up.)
