  Build a bridge across a 10cm gap

  

  You can build across books, boxes, or just towers of other LEGO bricks – whatever works! Place an apple (or something that weighs about the same) on top of the bridge to make sure it’s strong enough.

  Make the gap 15cm wide

  

  Oh no! The bridge has fallen into the sea with a crash and a splash.
• ステップ 3

  Build a new bridge

  

  Salvage the bricks and use them to build a new bridge across the gap. Can it still hold the apple?

  Keep going!

  

  Make the gap 20cm wide and rebuild the bridge. Then 25cm, 30cm, 35cm… How wide can you go and still hold the weight of the apple?
