The LEGO Group expands its line of Star Wars™ building sets with new Star Wars: Ahsoka sets and a Chewbacca building set announced at San Diego Comic-Con

San Diego, July 19, 2023: Today at San Diego Comic-Con, the LEGO Group announced three new additions to the LEGO® Star Wars™ building set range. Two sets were connected to the upcoming Star Wars series Star Wars: Ahsoka – Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle, and New Republic E-Wing™ vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter™ – plus a brick-built display model of everyone’s favourite Wookiee, Chewbacca™, was revealed.

The two Star Wars: Ahsoka sets have been announced in the lead up to the launch of Star Wars: Ahsoka series, streaming on Disney+ from August 23. Set after the fall of the Empire, Star Wars: Ahsoka follows former Jedi Ahsoka Tano (played by Rosario Dawson) as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy. These two new LEGO brick-built starship sets invite fans to join Ahsoka – warrior, outcast and rebel – on her adventures around the galaxy.

Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle building set
Kids can play out Star Wars: Ahsoka adventures at home with this superbly detailed LEGO® brick-building set recreation of Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle (75362).

This starship building set model features an opening LEGO minifigure cockpit, landing gear that’s easily retracted for flight mode, two stud shooters and two storage compartments for tools and weapons.

This action-packed set also includes new-for-September 2023 Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren, Professor Huyang and Marrok LEGO minifigures that include minifigure accessories such as LIGHTSABER™ and blaster minifigure accessories to inspire creative play.

New Republic E-Wing™ vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter™ building set
Get ready for a thrilling galactic chase with this LEGO® Star Wars™ New Republic E-Wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter (75364) building set for ages 9 and up.

It features two authentically detailed brick-building set models of starships from Star Wars: Ahsoka, four LEGO minifigures of popular characters and a New Republic astromech droid minifigure.

Each starship building set has an opening minifigure cockpit, two stud shooters and space to store weapons. The E-wing starfighter additionally features a space behind the cockpit, plus retractable landing gear.

The two products join the Ghost & Phantom II, which was revealed on July 9. LEGO and Star Wars fans alike can play out scenes by building the Ghost starship and its detachable Phantom II shuttle with LEGO® bricks. The building sets are also packaged with minifigures based on the characters General Hera Syndulla, Lt. Beyta, First Officer Hawkins, Jacen Syndulla and Chopper (C1-10P).

In addition to the two Star Wars: Ahsoka sets, the LEGO Group also welcomed a new brick-building set version of Chewbacca to the LEGO® Star Wars™ range to mark the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.

This wonderfully detailed display model, consisting of over 2,000 pieces, captures Chewbacca’s distinctive features and arms him with a giant bowcaster. To top it off, there’s even an adorable Chewbacca minifigure included alongside an information plaque. This fitting tribute to a Star Wars icon is sure to make an evocative centrepiece, standing proud at 18 inches tall.

All three of the new products can be paired with the LEGO Builder app. This nifty app has tools for builders to zoom in and rotate a 3D digital version of the real-life construction model as they build, save sets and track their progress.

The Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle, New Republic E-Wing™ vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter™ and Chewbacca™ building sets are now available for pre-order and will be available to purchase from September 1, 2023 via LEGO stores, lego.com/Star-Wars and from select leading retailers around the world.
