Build a telescope

Do you like telescopes? That’s great! You’ll fit right in here at the LEGO® Astronomy Society. We build telescopes all the time. We also look through them, of course. But we’ve not seen anything remarkable yet. Maybe today though, right?
Steps
- Step 1
Start building your telescope
Build a series of hollow squares – each one wider than the last – and join them together. It’s that simple!
- Step 2
Add a lens to one end
See if you can find a transparent LEGO piece to use as a lens. Windows, dish pieces, anything like that.
- Step 3
Look through your telescope
Remember to take turns if you’re building with a friend.
- Step 4
See anything interesting?
If you’re building with a friend try setting something up so they can look for it with the telescope.
