Kids grow up fast, so having a fun birthday video is a great keepsake. Stage an interview to ask all the big questions of the birthday superstar.
Steps
- Step 1
Who is the host?
Every great interviewer comes prepared with some great questions. You can either make some question cards together or freestyle without cards.
Top tip: Questions could include things such as what’s your favourite animal or colour? Who is your ultimate minifigure? What’s your best meal ever? What would your dream present be?

Make your microphone
It can be any color!

Set the stage
Decide where to stage your interview then set up your camera and ACTION!
- Step 4
Shake things up
During the interview mix things up and let your kid become the interviewer – get ready for some tough questions!
Top tips
- Make a bloopers reel – this will be funny to look back on in years to come.
- Throw in a few surprise questions to make them laugh.
- Have a chat at the beginning of the interview to make them feel relaxed and happy.
