Job Description

Bring your digital & moulding expertise into the Manufacturing Design and Implementation (MD&I) team to support the Moulding Machine Technology team to become state of the art, enabling both continuous improvements and fast learnings with new technologies, as part of a diverse team of technology engineers and project managers.
Responsibilities
Accountable together with the platform owner (= functional area leader) for the Moulding Machines used in the LEGO Group production site across the entire globe, being a go-to person with strong expertise to provide day-to-day support
Identify and deliver E2E technical solutions that are innovative, safe, efficient, sustainable and cost-optimized across the equipment lifetime – focusing on the IT interface and digital aspect of the technology
Go-to contact person towards Product owners in digital team, go-to contact towards ongoing Moulding Digitalization project
Drafts together the foundations of the Moulding Machine Digital roadmap securing key collaboration with suppliers, internal stakeholders (the LEGO Group Digital team, R&D Moulding, Moulding Analytics...) and platform owner
Seek continuously ways to improve the simplicity and efficiency of the functional area through digital improvements
Continously work with stakeholders to secure compliance and coherence of technology being implemented, continuous feedback, ECR and other collaboration projects – focusing on the IT/OT interface and digital aspect of the technology
Nurture partner relationship with the Moulding Machine suppliers and your Procurement stakeholders
Accountable with the platform owner that the to secure secures the fundamentals of the technology area are always in place (updated technical specifications and drawings, test requirements, BoM and component list, FAT/SAT when needed, Masterdata…).
Requirements
5+ years of experience working in Injection Moulding Industry
Knowledge about EN (euronorms), machine safety, IEC
Experience in IT/OT integration of production equipment and/or degree related and utilized
Basic understanding of data architecture, data communication, control systems
Nice to have
Knowledgeable in ISA95/ISA88
Masterdata management experience
Knowledge of PLC coding & communication protocols
