Core Responsibilities
This position offers countless opportunities to learn and get insights through constant exposure to various parts of organization and value chain. General project management competences are the corner stone for success, but project content would significantly change according to personal preferences and evolving LEGO environment, which would ensure that every single project is somehow different. We make sure that personal skills and strengths are fully exploited. Global impact, innovation focus and environmental responsibility are guaranteed.
In this role you will drive projects according to LEGO Project Model. You will:
- Prepare and modify project time plans according to gathered specialist knowledge and constantly evolving environment
- Ensure resource alignment, load, and allocation (project participants)
- Secure project budget, approve project spending, bring up potential budget overspent and systematically manage changes
Other responsibilities include:
- Dealing with suppliers, partners, and steering committees
- Defining and coordinating project teams, mitigating disagreements
- Identifying process and project areas suitable for optimization which would make us stronger and more efficient

Our Research & Development, Packing and Packaging organization (R&D P&P) is located in Billund, DK and Kladno, CZ and consists of bunch of enthusiasts with innovative approach who assure our LEGO products are assembled and packed into newly developed sustainable packaging in the most efficient way. Deliver sustainable packaging is currently our no. 1 priority. Our team has a global responsibility for all packing equipment, and we lead projects with partners across all LEGO production sites.
Do you have what it takes?
- Business/project understanding
- Solid experience in manufacturing and in project management
- Curiosity about modern technologies and innovative consumer trends
- Microsoft Office bundle at advanced user level
- Ability to read/understand technical drawings (AutoCAD, 3D models)
- Determined, communicative and curious personality
- University degree at business and/or technical university is preferred
