We are looking for a Tax Process Manager to join our Tax Design and Compliance team who will help us ensure The LEGO Group stays in the forefront of the current and future tax compliance requirements!
Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement system and process solutions for real time reporting, e-invoicing, Saf-T requirements etc.
- Within a continuous improvement and process excellence mentality work with process standardization, optimization, and process documentation.
- Identify and mitigate tax risks by implementing relevant controls and governance structures following our compliance by design principles.
- Actively participate in the ongoing SAP S4Hana transformation and set-up of new global tax engine solution.

Tax Design & Compliance team is part of Business Service Operations in The LEGO Group. Our responsibilities cover global process ownership of Tax processes as well as process expertise and governance for global tax area. Our remit covers all tax areas within indirect and direct tax including Environmental tax/EPR and employment taxes.
Our mission is to design, implement and maintain efficient and effective standardized processes and bridge business needs with legal requirements and digital solutions. You will be based in either Billund or Prague and join a team of 10 colleagues.
Collaboration and stakeholder management
You will engage and collaborate with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders across the organization. Key stakeholders are our Strategic Tax function, Digital, global process owners and process specialist and our external software and compliance partners for the solutions we design and operate. We work collectively to transform tax and other legal requirements into efficient system solutions, ensuring seamless integration of our specialist knowledge in the pursuit of organizational excellence.
Do you have what it takes?
- Proven expertise in the indirect tax area within an international company, specializing in tax technology solutions. 3-5 years of experience at least is expected.
- Hands on experience with designing and implementing/optimizing solutions for real time reporting, e-invoicing and Saf-T reporting.
- Knowledge and experience with tax engines and/or SAP & S4 Hana competencies.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial and business process set-ups in a global consumer goods company is a plus.
- Strong relationship-building skills across functional areas and diverse cultures.
- Ability to focus on details while maintaining a well-rounded end-to-end approach and strategic awareness.
- Effective communication and presentation skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex issues in a user-friendly language.
- Emphasis on curiosity and a proactive, business-minded attitude, valuing respect and knowledge sharing within the team.
- A limited number of business travel days (range 0-15 days per year) may be expected
Please note the work location is Billund, Denmark or Prague. Relocation support is not offered for this role.
