The Global Security Organization looks after people and assets in The LEGO Group. The primary role is to ensure business continuity by protecting the company and employees from critical security incidents, ensuring efficient responses to incidents and preventing physical leaks and thefts of intellectual property and critical assets.
As Senior Site Security Manager you are the security go-to-person for the local management team, leading internal investigations related to the protection of our people assets and information.
Core Responsibilities
Deploy the LEGO® GSO strategic priorities through the security agenda with approved budgets.
Mobilizing site theft & leak incident investigations & the crisis management in accordance to the defined protocol in the event of incidents & emergencies, ensuring appropriate communication to & between collaborators (e.g. GM, Legal, PO&D, GPA) and ensure timely reporting to Regional Director on the status & result.
Actively support the Mexico city and Brasil Leadership Team (LT) & Local Site Emergency Management Teams (SEMT) priorities. Ensuring Contingency Plans are in place & regular reviewed & maintenance is performed.
Lead local investigations related to the leak of confidential information, damage and theft of company assets
Will coordinate internal collaborators, authorities and contractors to guarantee the correct development of the investigations.
Adequately record the investigations carried out and the findings and learning from them.
Will carry out process audits and make the necessary recommendations to reduce asset security risks.
Provide support in the development of new security infrastructure projects
Do you have what it takes
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant academic background (eg. risks management, corporate security, legal, manufacturing, engineering or IT) combined with practical experience from a corporate security function.
English proficiency. Part of the interview will be conducted in English.
Experience in security and CCTV systems
Experience managing contract security personnel.
Experience from larger construction projects is considered an advantage.
Experience working at a large multinational manufacturing site.
Collaboration experience with Local Security Authorities
Familiar with CTPAT & AEO requirements for security areas
Proven track record with stakeholder management at general management level, preferably from an international organization.
Proven investigation experience and skills
