Job Description

Join our Digital Team in Product Engineering Technology, where we’re shaping the future of additive manufacturing. You’ll play a key role in developing frontend web solutions for our shopfloor teams.

Core responsibilities

  • Develop IT solutions to drive the product towards the vision as well as run and optimize daily operation.  
  • Be part of defining and building solutions that live up to modern standards.
  • DevSecOps – develop for automated testing and CI/CD enabled pipelines.
  • IT development, balancing technology between an existing technology stack and explore new opportunities.
  • Technical sparring with other Software Engineers demonstrating eagerness to teach, learn and experiment with an agile mindset.

The Product Engineering Technology department provides solutions and technology for the engineering areas of the LEGO Group. We support from design to produced elements with areas like Element Design, Mould design, Mould production, Quality and Moulding in the factories impacting more than 4.000 LEGO colleagues.  

In this position you will be part of a digital product team that develop and maintain the digital solutions to support and drive the digital agenda for the business area working with additive design and manufacturing. You will work in a team collaboration with a product manager, digital designer and other software engineers to deliver high quality software solutions. We are on a digital transformation journey, where topics as data-informed decisions, user experience, automations, and optimization are within scope.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven Experience in the React or similar framework.
  • Cloud experience.
  • Experience in writing modular code that is easy to test, deploy and maintain. 
  • A team player with a positive, brave, and curious mindset and a strong commitment to delivering quality. 
  • Effective communication skills to properly articulate and facilitate complex concept. dialogues bridging technical and functional teams and our business audience.  
  • Good presentation skills to showcase development work to both technical and non technical audience.
  • Being change ready and enjoying a flexible and inspiring environment that embraces diversity. 

Bonus qualifications:

  • Experience in Typescript or .NET C#. 
  • Experience with Swift.
  • Practical experience in agile development methods and continuous delivery environment. 
  • Have strong cultural competences, including understanding and collaborating with people from other countries. 
  • Mentoring and coaching mindset to share knowledge within organization’s communities.
  • Experience in writing tests (unit/functional) for the front-end. 
  • Curious mindset to go beyond front-end expertise.
