Job Description

Ready to lead the next phase of the LEGO Group's people platform strategy and product vision? As a product manager driving alignment between engineering and business teams, you will maximize the value of the LEGO Group’s Hire-to-Retire processes and Workday platform.
 

Core Responsibilities

As a Senior Product Manager for Hire to Retire, you will be responsible for leading and driving product strategy for our Hire-to-Retire product, encompassing our Workday platform and associated core HR processes such as employee master data, document management, compensation. You will work closely with internal HR partners, business end-users and platform engineering to drive product strategy, roadmap and execution

  • Lead the development of a product vision and strategy centered on delivering value, and effectively communicate it to internal partners

  • Integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to improve user satisfaction and ensure customer focused design

  • Work closely with internal users to translate business goals and user feedback into insights and requirements that deliver value.

  • Drive the day-to-day execution of the long-term product strategy. Plan product development through the management of a product backlog of refined user-stories.

  • Develop and maintain a suite of product-specific metrics to demonstrate and measure the value delivered by the product.

  • Manage relationships with internal partners and engineers including critical issue management.

  • Build strong relationships with vendor partners and industry contacts. Keep up to date with industry trends and vendor product roadmaps.

You will provide strong and enthusiastic indirect leadership to the Hire-to-Retire product team, collaborating daily with engineering and design teams to craft feasible solutions that drive value. You will become close partners with end-users and HR center of excellence to ensure alignment on product vision, roadmap and outcomes.
 

Do you have what it takes?

The ideal candidate has solid work experience within product management in a corporate technology (HR, finance, facilities) product area combined with deep knowledge of the HR technology vendor landscape, in particular Workday HCM and associated modules. In addition, you bring:

  • A strong focus on user experience, partner management and customer satisfaction, ensuring that Hire-to-Retire products meet the practical needs of HR professionals and contributes to the organization.

  • Experience crafting product vision and strategy and articulating the value of initiatives with strong metrics.

  • Familiarity with agile product management techniques and JIRA.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical details and value propositions to non-technical audiences
