Are you our new o9 Solutions Retail Planning Sr. engineer?
By joining LEGO Retail, you’ll become part of a global team responsible for all LEGO flagship stores and lego.com planning worldwide. The Retail Planning product team supervises all retail planning platforms and IT initiatives. With a user-centric approach aimed at enhancing usability and driving efficiency, our goal is to support LEGO's long-term growth ambitions through digitally enabled innovations for retail planning.

Core Responsibilities
Design, build, and modify data models in o9 Solutions that meet specific business cases or analytical needs
Regularly update models as data structures evolve, ensuring new insights are continuously available
Provide impact analysis for version changes to ensure no disruptions in data pipelines
Optimize the performance of data queries in o9 to ensure the platform runs efficiently
Analyze data flow and troubleshoot bottlenecks, optimizing performance
Modify how data is disaggregated or split to ensure it supports new requirements
Ensure data quality and governance by defining rules and auditing data as it flows through the integration pipeline
Monitor data and automate error handling mechanisms
Build and modify procedures and to support the new requirements
Update business rules and parameters as per new policies

Your role as an “o9 Engineer” will be part of an agile product teams delivering retail planning capabilities such as Demand Planning, Assortment Planning, Allocation & Replenishment, Financial Planning.
The core planning solution is o9 Solutions and the data integration from product teams across LEGO is built on AWS using ETL, API’s and Databricks.
You will be responsible for coming in and contributing to a highly motivated, self-sufficient team of engineers, designer and product manager.
Do you have what it takes?
5+ years of professional experience in the software engineering field
Dedicated as well as an organized teammate
Hands-on experience with o9 Solutions
o9 Technical Certifications or relevant experiences from o9 projects
Proficiency in IBPL (Integrated Business Planning Language) within the o9 platform
Must be attentive to detail, flexible and able to work concurrently on multiple tasks
Understanding of Retail Planning systems and the end-to-end business processes
Retail Planning specific experience incl. Demand Forecasting, Demand Planning, Allocation and Replenishment, Assortment Planning, Financial Planning
Advanced English both written and verbal would be ideal as we are an internationally gathered team.
