Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic allocation of marketing funds, ensuring efficient impact and aligning with regional financial targets.

  • Craft and implement marketing investment strategies for a specific region to improve Return on Marketing Invested (ROMI).

  • Analyse regional market data and Marketing Mix Modelling insights to advise strategic investments.

  • Analyse impact of marketing on long-term demand planning and work with DP planners to assess risks

  • Oversee budgets, ensuring resource allocation supports marketing priorities and delivers value through aligned marketing activities with The LEGO Group's strategic goals.

  • Provide advice on budget allocation to maximise marketing effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Coordinate the marketing contribution towards Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP)

  • Engage key regional partners, fostering satisfaction through transparent and strategic investment decisions.

  • Proactively manage risks in the regional marketing plans, developing contingency strategies in partnership with the regions to meet growth targets.

  • Set and communicate marketing spend guidelines to ensure strategic consistency across regional and global initiatives.

The Regional Marketing Investment Planning Senior Manager holds a pivotal position within The LEGO Group, ensuring local marketing efforts resonate with global objectives while adapting to regional peculiarities. By balancing strategic investments with precise analytics, this role significantly contributes to the success and scalability of our brand across various markets.

This role leads a team of 2 direct reports.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Min 8 years of experience in marketing investment planning or business analysis with a regional focus.

  • Strong grasp of data analytics and its application in marketing investment decision-making.

  • Experience with Marketing Mix Modelling and forecasting sales based on marketing channels.

  • Demonstrated success in planning and aligning marketing efforts with company objectives.

  • Effective communication and partner engagement skills with a track record of building consensus.

  • Agility in adapting to new trends and changing market conditions to optimize marketing investments.

  • Leadership experience with a background in cross-functional team collaboration.

  • Experience with integrated commercial planning and marketing spend guidelines creation.

  • Strong project management skills with an emphasis on time-bound deliverables.
