Please note that relocation support is not offered for this role.
Core Responsibilities
In this specialist role, you will own the digital platform solutions for our R&D Processing Platforms, ensuring integration, structure, and governance of the Global recipe management system.
Furthermore, you will drive initiatives supporting the global change journey, transitioning from an analog production foundation towards digital recipes. You will push the needs for standardization and global alignment throughout the entire lifecycle of machines and their production equipment, as well as support processes needed for efficient production.
In addition, you will:
Manage global alignment on system usage for recipes (e.g., recipes for vision systems, automatic in-feed systems, and machine setting recipes).
Coordinate the recipe lifecycle from creation to adjustment, and ultimately, to retirement.
Support the global digital change journey for our platform by working closely with collaborators from the supply chain in a well-organized manner.
Ensure flawless performance and usage of processing equipment and processes globally.
Play your part in our team succeeding
You will join the Platform Governance team, part of the ‘Global Production Foundation’ area responsible for the standardization and safeguarding of global processing equipment and processes. Our goal is to secure the right performance, use, and functions in a global setup, essential for producing new LEGO bricks with speed, effectiveness, and efficiency.
This central global function supports production sites worldwide.
You will collaborate with R&D Processing department heads, engineers, specialists, constructors, and other engineering departments, as well as global manufacturing sites.
Do you have what it takes?
We imagine that the ideal candidate has a technical background and proven experience working with manufacturing equipment in a global setup.
You are proactive and have a curious, investigative approach to projects to ensure timely involvement. Likewise, you are a team player with excellent communication skills, enabling you to build positive relationships and convey clear messages to those around you. Additionally, we expect that you have:
Experience with manufacturing equipment, preferably assembly equipment or processes, either from a development role or production support role.
Knowledge of digital production or vision recipes and technologies.
Knowledge and experience in processing and platform work.
A flair for and desire to solve technical problems.
Experience leading change with proven experience using tools such as Six Sigma Black Belt, PROSCI, or other relevant methodologies.
Dedication and a strong drive.
Proficiency in English.
20 days travel per year is expected in the role.
