Core Responsibilities
As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing talent and encourage product teams to drive innovative solutions within the SAP S/4 HANA, ABAP Cloud, BTP and the newest technologies. Your leadership will empower product teams to meet business needs while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Lead and develop a group of highly skilled software engineers, providing mentorship and opportunities for growth.
- Contribute hands-on as an equal team member or serve as a technical problem-solver for complex challenges across product teams.
- Cultivate a learning culture that promotes continuous development and knowledge sharing, both within and across teams.
- Champion technical excellence and instill a DevSecOps mindset within product teams. Implement best engineering practices and enable an innovative approach to product development.
- Playful mindset by networking in the organization and seek inspiration on latest trends to develop ways of working and enable a strong learning culture.
- Foster Agile methodologies and enable the team to have a value focused mindset.

The Supply & Demand Technology team builds and innovates global Digital solutions for the entire supply chain in the LEGO Group, which are vital to delivering great play experiences.
We handle massive and fast-changing amounts of data, and our products are the foundation for forecasting the demand, planning the supply, input for production, and distribution of LEGO® products globally.
This is why we focus on quality, speed, skilled and motivated people and modern software development practices to accomplish this.
In the role as Senior Engineering Manager, you will work as a leader for 6-10 employees, ensure we have the right skills and grow talents, but also taking an active role in a product team as a software engineer.

- Technology Experience: Demonstrated expertise in S/4 HANA, ERP, Supply Chain Management systems like Kinaxis Maestro and platforms like SAP BTP/ABAP Cloud.
- Strong technical expertise in modern software development practices, enabling you to mentor and coach your team.
- Passion for leadership with a focus on developing and guiding others to reach their full potential.
- Experience working in Agile environments, with a collaborative mindset.
- A team player who values diversity and is eager to continuously learn, share knowledge, and challenge the status quo.
Additional Advantages
- Experience with technical leadership, inspiring both people and technology.
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development, CI/CD, and a DevSecOps mindset.
- Ability to lead and prioritize key initiatives, driving value across product teams.
