Lead the charge as the Head of Product for LEGO GAMING IPs, where you'll bring beloved gaming universes to life through the BRICK products portfolio, delivering innovation that resonates with fans and shapes the identity of gamers worldwide!
Core Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the global business performance as well as the longer-term strategic direction of the LEGO GAMING IPs category, specifically focusing on the BRICK products portfolio of franchises such as LEGO Super Mario, LEGO Minecraft, LEGO Sonic, LEGO Animal Crossing, LEGO Fortnite, and more. As part of the Product Group (PG) New Businesses Leadership Team, you will lead a cross-functional team to deliver balanced commercial and market penetration growth. Additionally, you will:
Define and drive the Category vision, long-term strategy, and short-term business plan, while holding the decision mandate for time, cost, and quality trade-offs.
Elevate and scale the Category strategy across Markets and touchpoints, owning the product, communications, and content strategy and execution.
Take global responsibility for Product P&L, including business steering, in-year adjustments, and ongoing evaluation of ways of working to enhance effectiveness.
Lead the on-site cross-functional team and serve as the people leader for a global marketing team, ensuring alignment with Category goals.
Act as the primary contact for all key internal and external partners, managing senior partners to deliver on category plans.
Contribute to the broader agenda, culture, and organizational design of the PG New Businesses Leadership Team, influencing beyond direct reporting scope.

LEGO Gaming IPs are a critical part for our business, being a rapidly growing portfolio and business in one of the most fundamental passions in the world. It is a big, highly visible and exciting role to be Head of Product for such a pivotal LEGO portfolio.

We are looking for a holistic and experienced leader with 4 key foundational capability spikes:
Team Leadership: Leading not just direct reports but a whole category cross functional team to have a cohesive culture of values and behaviours, with a strong, highly collaborative and highly motivated team.
An Inspiring Business Visionary: Setting the longer-term vision for this category and audience, with big thinking combined with a hands-on bias for action.
A strong balance of Commercial hard skills, with Marketing Soft skills: being able to switch easily from very commercial forums and approach, to strategic or communication intuition.
Working with Partners: Being able to be a fantastic partner and drive a common outcome agenda where everybody wins with our multiple IP partners.
From an experience perspective we are looking for:
Highly proficient senior leader with 10+ years of experience in business, people, and team leadership, and a strong foundation in brand marketing.
Proven marketing professional with a successful track record in brand building, driving consumer-facing brand growth, and maintaining brand health.
Seasoned in communication strategy and managing global coordinated marketing campaigns, with a deep understanding of the media and digital landscape.
Experienced in product development, translating strategy into an innovation pipeline within an agile setup, while demonstrating thought leadership and calculated risk-taking.
Strong collaboration skills with a history of operating and developing broad partner networks (internal and external) and a solid grasp of the E2E value chain from global to local levels.
Embraces diversity and using it to bring new perspectives, ideas, and approaches through collaboration; experience in Gaming is a plus.
