Core Responsibilities
In short, the jobs to be done for this role center around three main areas:
Post-Publication Oversight: Hands-on responsible for screening all UGC content (incl. text chats, images, videos, game play and comments), and handle reports of inappropriate content that has been published and address violations of IP infringement or Terms and Conditions, including misuse of LEGO IP and third-party IPs.
Partner Management and Pre-Publication Process: Act as the primary point of contact for external partners responsible for moderating user-generated experiences. Establish strong relationships and develop guidelines to improve moderation workflows with partners such as Epic Games.
Improve moderation strategies for digital gaming experiences, balancing player creativity with brand safety. Identify emerging risks or trends in user-generated content that may require updates to brand moderation policies.

The Senior Brand Moderation Manager will oversee and improve moderation practices for user-generated content on gaming platforms, ensuring alignment with LEGO's brand standards. This role focuses on moderating 3D content, requiring strategic leadership to ensure consistency, compliance, and quality. The ideal candidate will foster a positive experience for both players and creators while acting as a trusted advisor and will be part of a very collaborative team.
Please note: This is a position based in Billund – alternatively Copenhagen, Denmark. Our flexible working model allows employees to work 2 days/week from home (3 days in the office). Relocation support is not offered for this role.
Do you have what it takes?
Extensive experience in moderation, content governance, or brand management, ideally in gaming or entertainment.
Experience managing external partners, vendors, or moderation teams, with a focus on the Fortnite platform.
Proven ability to navigate complex IP and brand guidelines in creative, user-driven environments.
Deep understanding of user-generated content ecosystems, particularly in gaming or digital spaces.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a diplomatic approach to collaboration.
Analytical approach and proficiency in interpreting moderation data to generate actionable insights.
