This role is based in Korea and no relocation assistance is offered for this position.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Leadership to drive key older kids franchises for LEGO Korea with product passion and experience, and consumer and shopper centric mentality.
  • Experience and ability to lead, partner with and influence various functions (Global Marketing, Sales Team, Operations Team, etc.) to enhance the impact of franchises.
  • Develop franchise growth and GTM opportunities with strong consumer insights and be responsible for the Franchise budgets.
  • Evaluate performance on key campaigns, share takeaways and best practices with BU and Global partners. Provide timely post campaign reporting ensuring findings are actively applied to future activities to improve marketing return on investment.
  • Strong collaboration with internal and external partners including creative agency and cross-functional teams like Digital, PR, Events and Retail.

This role is in South Korea business unit and part of the APAC market group. The overall focus is to accelerate business growth via recruiting kids and adults, improving the brand understanding, and enhancing our footprint across physical & online retail channels.
 

This role is part of the BU marketing organization (total 13 people), which includes; Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Trade Marketing, PR & Events – all reporting to the Marketing Director for the BU. The team is highly collaborative, dynamic and energetic, living the values and behaviours of the LEGO Group.

 

Do you have what it takes?

  • Strong marketing experience preferably in FMCG/ Lifestyle/ Sports/ Fashion/ Novelty Retail/ Snacks & Beverage industry.
  • Experiences in working with agencies, creating and leading large scale integrated marketing campaigns across Digital/ Social/ eComm/ Retail, and partnerships.
  • Strong project management skills; experience working in a very fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Energetic and self-starter, able to work as part of a team and also as an individual.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Korean (Business level proficiency) and English language to collaborate with colleagues globally.
