Core Responsibilities

  • Lead market research insights in LEGO® GAME in close collaboration with internal and external partners
  • Facilitate our Play-tests set-up in Billund and globally supporting to innovative new games in close collaboration with game designers and producers
  • Support new game innovations idea generation with market insights and be part of idea generation
  • Lead campaign and launch insight before, during and after go-to-market
  • Be a sparing partner on all research for LEGO® GAME across game development, marketing and operation
  • Lead our gaming well-being initiative in close collaboration with partner

The Analytics and Insights function is a well-established domain across The LEGO Group, offering access to numerous sparring partners. However, in the realm of digital gaming and experiences, this is a relatively new focus area, just two years old. While data has long informed how the LEGO Group and its partners bring digital games to market, shifting market dynamics make understanding player preferences and industry trends a continuously exciting challenge. Our goal is to sharpen our ability to seize emerging opportunities and adapt to trends in the gaming landscape.

This role will guide teams across the LEGO® GAME organization—spanning development, tech, commercial, and marketing functions—by leveraging research and insights as foundational tools. Responsibilities include overseeing research headlines and industry trends to advise senior stakeholders, as well as diving into player experiences for meaningful dialogues with development and commercial teams.

As part of a newly formed operations team, you’ll independently drive initiatives, balancing strategy and value for players and stakeholders while aligning with the broader LEGO GAME vision.

Do you have what it takes?

The ideal candidate holds proven working and/or educational experience within Statistics, Business, Research, Gaming; and within relevant fields around research, data, analytics and insights for digitally products or experiences.

Moreover, confidence in using Power BI, Tableau or other front-end visualization tools will be an advantage. Same, cross culture understanding of working with global colleagues and partners across multiple time zones.

As a person, we expect you to demonstrate:

  • Deep interest in the digital landscape trends and KPI performance indicators.
  • Being skilled in crafting and communicating crisp and short storylines to executive level people.
  • Well-rounded in managing stakeholders internal and externally with facts and data; with a collaborative approach.
  • Ability of thinking on your feet in meetings with many stakeholders and always keeping things simple and focused.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Positive can-do attitude and always chasing solutions that benefits the team, willingness to learn independently and adapt role.
  • A high level of learning agility- where you can pick things up and learn quickly on your own with a determination to deliver results.
  • Fluent English skills, both verbal and written
  • Willingness to travel 10 days a year
