Lead or Act as a point of support as required in the implementation of global projects related to Quality , and share the resulting information with the relevant stakeholders.

Follow up on global and local incidents related to product quality and coordinate containment activities and countermeasures that arise from them; Provide support in the process of corrective actions to find containments, root causes, robust countermeasures, etc., and verifying effectiveness of actions affecting the system. Act as a point of contact for the Consumer Perceived Quality team.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Participate and collaborate with global quality in regards of Critical and Big Incidents
  • Coordinate different areas and stakeholders to solve and give response to critical and Big incidents
  • Coordinate stoplight in the different Distribution centers in Americas
  • Give the DC all the necessary information to perform the AQL (Visual Aids / Instructions, etc)
  • Ensure all the investigations and corrective actions are shared with Global Quality
  • Perform traceability investigations related to customer complains / Big incidents or different events that could have a customer impact
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholder the reworks and ensure we have correct resources to perform the rework
  • Ensure the correct quality of products with the introduction of new machines and special products

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree Industrial, mechanical Engineering degree or similar
  • Master degree desirable
  • More tan 5 years of experience on Manufacturing and Quality.
  • Planning and negotiation
  • Manage, develop, integrate and motivate a team.
  • Managing Quality Tools as FMEA, Control Plan, Process Diagrams and improvement tools as Lean manufacturing, ISO 9001 preferably TS 16949
  • Using Minitab system (R&R, Paretos, MSA)
  • RRCA and Corrective actions methodologies (Ishikawa, 8D, 5W etc.)
  • Leading Improvement projects using Six Sigma methodology.
  • Project management
  • Fluent English Level

Hard Skills:

  • Project management participation experience.
  • Continuous Improvement basic tools and methodology to solve problems and develop ideas.
  • Microsoft Office (Intermediate – Advanced)
  • Reporting and data analysis knowledge.

Soft Skills:

  • Advanced negotiation and communication skills.
  • Customer service and quality oriented.
  • High ability to do risk assessments and problem solution oriented to good and strategic results.
  • Proactive person, looking for innovation and good teamwork.
  • High level of leadership
  • Note: This position is based at our LEGO NL manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores. This is not a remote position.
