Please note that this role is offered on a one-year fixed term contract.  

Core Responsibilities 

Together with your Core Team you lead the development of both exclusive and non-exclusive retail products from idea to launch: 

  • You act as an audience expert, creating a strategic, unique and purposeful product portfolio for our consumers and shoppers across our own channels as well as B2B.  

  • You build a portfolio that delivers against audience and business needs incl. priorities set by the Head of Extended Line. 

  • To build your portfolio you use your solid commercial understanding as well as your ability to analyze key data points and extract the essence hereof. 

  • You work across the defined operating model incl. managing risks, adhering to project plans, all in alignment with the overall LEGO Development Plan. 

  • During portfolio development you identify marketing and GTM opportunities together with the Marketing- and GTM team, ultimately to improve the unique relevant reach of your portfolio. 

  • You continuously seek ways to optimize your portfolio footprint, incl. evaluating the right size, product mix etc.

Extended Line consists of 4 portfolios: Merchandise, Gift with Purchase, Retail Experiences and Recruitment Bags. Each of these deliver unique value to our Markets & Channels as well as the complete LEGO product portfolio. In our team we work across the LEGO ecosystem on a mission to deliver outstanding relevant reach and engagement. We want to find innovative ways to bring value to our shoppers and consumers globally.  

Do you have what it takes? 

  • 4-5 years’ experience working with Product Development/Management and consumer-facing products. 

  • A very solid commercial understanding and genuine curiosity about extracting commercial conclusions from key data points. 

  • Experience in working with big brands and creating amazing products and/or experiences with key eco-system partners. 

  • Extraordinary partnering skills to navigate within a large matrix organization. 

  • Comfortable in a changing environment where few days are similar and where multiple task – planned and unplanned – needs to be handled simultaneously. 

  • Solid value chain understanding and a global approach. 

  • Excellent ability to build positive relationships with customers and internal relations with functional partners. 

  • Have a personality fitting the LEGO Leadership Playground behaviors of Curiosity, Bravery and Focus. 

  • Comfortable in presenting in front of senior leaders.  

Please note: This is a position based in Billund, Denmark. Our flexible working model allows employees to work 2 days/week from home (3 days in the office). Relocation support is not offered for this role.
