You will be part of the Procurement Team at our manufacturing site in Jiaxing. You role will be to support and ensure that Production is supported with materials and services on time, in full, in requested quality and at accepted price level. You will report into the Procurement Director in Jiaxing and be part of the Global Category Team and BI network
Core Responsibility:
- Source and implement scalable and flexible supplier platform, while being in compliance.
- Lead team and set JIA procurement strategy for local JIA Paper and Printing material.
- Strategic partnerships with BOM suppliers, enabling proper Supplier Relationship Management. Manage supplier platform according to TLG purchasing strategy, subcategory strategy, TLG framework, including contracting, negotiations, risk management and resiliency.
- Category subject matter expert with in-depth understanding of Paper & Printing technologies for current business packaging needs and understanding of how market trend differ versus current materials.
- Significant initial cost reductions, supplemented with year-over-year productivity improvements, while maintaining or improving product quality and vendor service levels - Drive the reduction of carbon emissions for the suppliers in the Packaging categories to achieve the LEGO Group’s SBT target and sustainable journey.
- Drive local, global stakeholder management and team’s KPI Execution. Ability to influence the stakeholders and supply-base to drive the best outcome for The LEGO Group.
- Development and Execution of JIA sourcing plan and alignment with global direction. - Drive Cost/Spend analysis, PPV, NGEI and delivery.
- Drive strong collaboration with local stakeholders, regional and or other site teams for any opportunities.
- Provide innovative solutions to the stakeholders to manage and drive cost saving.
- Contract and Code of Conduct (ethical code) management coverage on high level
- Responsible for local governance and compliance progress
Do you have what it takes?
- Proven record in Procurement or other relevant supply chain functions. Knowledge about Coupa and SAP management is highly preferred.
- The ideal candidates need to have procurement experiences in direct materials like print and pack material.
- Excellent communication skills, negotiating, collaborating skills and strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge in driving suppliers to meet sustainable journey.
- The preferrable candidate has basic knowledge about tendering, and compliance process, and / or experienced working in such an environment under high ethical standard.
