We have an exciting opportunity for a Process Optimisation Manager - Accounting, Tax and Import and Export Customs to join our Business Processes & Information team, part of Business Service Operations! 

 

 

Core Responsibilities 

 

  • Design and implement system and process solutions for finance and tax processes within the 3D Model Production and Retail areas. 

  • Lead cross functional initiatives, providing hands on input on the import and export of 3D LEGO Models. 

  • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, intercompany invoicing and accounting including specific SAP system support. 

  • Actively participate in projects and activities, requiring process and system knowledge as well as an organisational change focus.

Business Processes & Information (BPI) is part of Business Service Operations. Our responsibilities cover global process ownership of Finance & HR processes as well as process  
expertise and interaction on finance, controlling as well as business & tax processes. Our objective is to develop and maintain efficient and effective standardized processes and bridge the business needs with digital solutions. You will be based in either Prague, CZ or Billund, Denmark and join a distributed team of more than seventy dedicated colleagues. In this role, you will drive finance and tax processes improvement incl customs and other compliance obligations within the functional area. You will facilitate business requirements delivery and participate in ERP transformation project requiring process and SAP system knowledge. 

 

 

Do you have what it takes ? 

 

  • Hands on experience working with VAT and Customs, intercompany invoicing and accounting processes. 

  • Confirmed expertise in the import and export of products within an international company. 

  • Hands on SAP experience (SD, FI & CO), including testing and implementing new system functionalities. 

  • Comprehensive understanding of financial and business process set-ups in a global production or retail company 

  • Proven experience of global projects and initiatives, including root-cause analysis, definition of business requirements (including tax and customs), testing, implementation, documentation and training. 

  • Strong relationship-building skills across functional areas and diverse cultures. 

  • Ability to focus on details while maintaining a well-rounded end-to-end approach and strategic awareness. 

  • Effective communication and presentation skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain sophisticated issues in a user-friendly language. 

 

No relocation budget is offered for this role.
