Work Location: This position will be mainly based in our temporary training facility at Eastern International University (Binh Duong) and requires frequent travelling to our future factory in VSIP3, Tan Uyen (Binh Duong). Relocation to our factory is expected from early 2025. Transportation will be provided from HCMC, Bien Hoa & Binh Duong.
Core Responsibilities
Providing software/ hardware (SW/HW) support during installation and commissioning of new equipment, equipment modification , etc.
Providing SW/HW support to maintenance and production
Responsible for equipment and process design/program/simulation/tests that lead to standardization of change
Responsibility for the implementation of SW/HW modifications
Identify and collect continuous improvement for enhanced productivity, usability and serviceability.
Provides user inputs into technical guidance for automation and IT architecture for development and design of automation/software
Participating in defining and realizing training plan for Electrotechnicians in Maintenance department.
Updating technical documentation in terms of SW/HW.
Active participation in SW/HW projects (both local and global).
Searching for the new SW/HW solutions leading to higher efficiency in maintenance of production equipment.

NPI department incorporates the Industrial Engineering team and equipment, process, and project engineers, with a main focus on:
Ability to take in and ramp up new lines and new technologies (new or unique line installation & handover to production)
Upgrades to the standard platforms, processes, and layouts
Novelty Introduction and Validation of Current Routes
Testing of new materials or dual sources
Collaboration with other sites and sharing the best practices related to processes and technologies
Do you have what it takes?
Prefer candidates with a minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics/ Automation & Control Engineering/ Mechatronics/ Robotics or above
Having at least 4 years of experience in electronics and software in multinational manufacturing companies/ technical service companies
Good spoken and written English
Knowledge of Pack ML (Studio5000 is an advantage)
Orientation and experience with Rockwell PLC and other industrial hardware components. Ethernet, Device Net, Frequency Converters, Scada, etc.
Microsoft Office Suite at the user level.
Ability to read and understand technical or electronic drawings (AutoCAD, 3D models)
ERP (SAP) system experience at the user level is a plus.
Willingness to travel frequently for business purposes
Ability to work well with others and lead a team.
Logical thinking and creative problem-solving ability.
Organising, planning and time management skills.
Willingness to learn, high dedication and commitment.
Great attention to detail.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
