Core Responsibilities

As Payroll Specialist, you are responsible for delivering consistent service to all the partners of Business Service Operations. This means to meet the partners’ expectations and provide them with a top professional service, incorporating the LEGO values.

Furthermore, our specialists:

  • Carry out regular daily operations leading to ensuring accurate and timely execution of Payroll within own scope

  • Maintain strong and positive relationship with external providers and vendors to secure high quality payroll processing

  • Collaborate with other colleagues in order to secure continuous execution of tasks and delivery

  • Challenge the process and identify areas for improvement with strive to achieve maximum effectivity and precision of the payroll process

  • Form new beneficial relationship with partners and thereby ensure sustainable implementation of the global processes

  • Use and implement the best practice from within own defined country scope across further EMEA areas under the team’s responsibilities

  • Support manager in coordination and help towards colleagues in the team

  • Perform reconciliations and controls in regular payroll process

  • Participate and/or drive Process initiatives and projects

  • Further Payroll Team related task according to instructions from Manager

This is a permanent role based in our office in Prague, Czech Republic.

The Payroll Specialist plays an important role in establishing a sustainable Payroll department in the BSO. We need employees, all eager to engage actively in building a successful department, valuing collaboration, quality, and fun in the everyday life.

Do you have, what it takes?

  • 3-5 years of relevant professional working experience with Payroll processes and systems either as Payroll administrator or Payroll processor

  • Understanding of legislation and tax rules in Payroll

  • Fluency in English

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Experience from Shared Service or a Payroll Provider

  • Experience with compliance controls and set-up (in Payroll stream)

  • Great teammate with proactive approach

  • Happy to travel up to 15 days per year

  • Experience with Payroll systems eg. ADP Celergo would be an advantage
