Work Location: Our factory is based in VSIP 3, Tan Uyen, Binh Duong. Shuttle buses are provided from Ho Chi Minh, Bien Hoa & Binh Duong

 

Core Responsibilities

NPI Engineer role is an important part of the Novelty Development process. Team mainly focused on delivering special packaging products.

NPI Engineer mostly participate in projects (special packaging products) linked with following, updating and providing feedback for R&D team, in collaboration with stakeholders (Production, Planning and Quality).

NPI Engineer can be as well important players within global standardization processes.

  • Align and update the status for special packaging projects with global and local team.

  • Performing the test for special packaging products following the R&D guideline and making the decision on the result.

  • Flexible manage other projects (new platform installation, Sustainable Material Plan projects, new material, improvement)

  • Actively participates in tests of new technology and new products.

  • Follows all project management rules

  • Follows all relevant norms, directives and EHS requirements

  • This department incorporates the Industrial Engineering team and equipment, process and project engineers with main focus on:

  • Ability to take in and ramp up new lines and new technologies (new/unique line installation + hand over to production)

  • Upgrades the standard platforms/processes/layouts

  • Novelty Introduction and validation of current routings

  • Testing of new materials / dual source

  • Collaboration with other sites and sharing the best practices related to processes and technologies

Do you have what it takes?

  • Prefer candidates with Bachelor’s in Engineering majors or equivalent

  • A minimum of 4-year-experience in engineering area in multinational manufacturing companies, preferably in industrial engineering, process engineering, manufacturing engineering

  • Good command of English

  • Experience in project management with good stakeholder management

  • Work in a structured and independent way, have holistic view, good analysis skills

  • Logical thinking and creative problem-solving ability

  • High dedication and commitment

  • Proactivity, ambitions, persistence

  • Able to travel as parts of the work (including overseas trips)
