The role is about ensuring the continued strategic and tactical implementation of LCI (LEGO Continuous Improvement) in LEGO factory in Jinxing thus ensuring the development of in-house professional Lean competencies. The LCI expertise is to work with the local professional teams and local leaders to achieve this.

LCI is one of the Operations House 2022 core capabilities and for this reason we need to ensure that structure, processes, people and culture supporting the LCI is in place. The LCI-Leader Team has created a structure to best support the success of these desired goals.

This is a replacement role to engage local & global CI projects in manufacturing as well as along the upstream & downstream of the value chain

This position is a key part of this structure and will also be part of global LCI network.

Core Responsibilities

  • Drive Productivity (cost saving) across departments to strive for lean manufacturing (highest quality, lowest cost, and shortest lead time) and lean management.
  • Play as an active role to manage or support cross-functional projects for tactics topics or productivity agenda
  • Drive or support business problem solving
  • Engage the development of an agenda with respect to the LCI prospects
  • Drive or support the automation and digitalization journey in LCI
  • Develop and maintain the LCI maturity journey
  • Inspire different levels of leadership to sustain the maturity of LEGO Continuous Improvement
  • Drive or support LCI global agenda and connect to the LCI global network for cross-sites initiatives
  • Support business partners with training and coaching for special group
  • Work closely with BI colleagues along  the digitalization journey to better support  the business needs.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor´s degree or above in engineering or related
  • Experience from minimum 3 years of lean implementation in manufacturing,with experience in facility management as a plus.
  • Experience from professional project management. PMBOK certified will be an advantage
  • Experience from Agile and Scrum Project Management
  • Proven experience from Kaizen improvement or Six Sigma improvement projects
  • With practical background on BI application supporting the business digitalization. Technical BI knowledge is preferred
  • Proven experience as a strong facilitator, trainer and coacher
  • Very good partner management skills including the ability to communicate various level of leadership
  • Very good communication skills including proficient Mandarin and business English
  • A good understanding of professional and cultural differences
  • Active player in various teams via LEGO leadership playground behavior – Brave, Curious, and Focus!
