The China Channels & Ecosystem department is a critical group setup for building up the core capabilities for LEGO digital transformation for China Market.

Job Description
The Engineer participates in a product team to take technical ownership and responsibility for the range of applications within a product as defined by the LEGO Technology domain map.
  • Implement solutions using React/Vue, with a strong focus on clean, readable code with unit and integration test coverage and run it in production.
  • Take active part in code change peer-reviews to ensure quality and knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Contribute to engineering culture in terms of quality, monitoring and on-call practices.
Do you have what it takes?
  • Computer Science/Software Engineering or related university education background
  • Excellent communication, presentation, conflict management, critical thinking and influence skills (e.g. coaching, mentoring, etc.).
  • 5+ years of solution design and development experience in web-based/mobile applications/systems, considering scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Hands-on experience of inhouse-built, enterprise-level customer facing web-based or mobile applications/solutions.
  • Hands-on experience of frontend technologies (e.g. HTML/CSS/JavaScript, etc.) and frameworks (e.g. React/Angular/Vue.js, etc).
  • Solid knowledge of web APIs and build tools.
  • Hands-on experience of cloud platform (e.g. AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and experienced within working with and in, agile development teams.
  • Industry experience of retail, FMCG or e-Commerce is preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of UI/UX design is a plus.
  • Oversea study, working experience or MNC working experience is preferred.
