Job Description
Facility Management LMV are responsible for ensuring that the LMV factory properly maintained and operating efficiently in order to maximize manufacturing productivity and provide our LMV employees with an awesome and safe experience in the workplace every day.
The Energy Manager oversees and optimizes energy and water use at the factory. The manager is responsible for developing and managing local and global strategies to optimize resource use, reduce costs, enhance sustainability, and ensure regulatory compliance that support the long-term vision of The LEGO group in efficiency & sustainability.
Core Responsibilities :
- Energy and Water Management: As the responsible person for plant energy and water management, ensure that the energy and water management systems are running properly and that both LEGO Group and government targets are consistently met. This includes regular monitoring and adjustments to maintain optimal performance.
- Energy Efficiency Promotion: Actively promote energy efficiency across the facility by engaging stakeholders and providing comprehensive training programs. This involves educating staff on best practices and new technologies to reduce energy consumption.
- Work Plan Development: Develop detailed work plans according to the annual group and government KPIs for energy and water. Maintain and drive the implementation and delivery of a comprehensive list of energy and water-saving projects. This includes fostering innovation and implementing new technologies to achieve these goals.
- System Maintenance: Maintain the energy management system by collaborating with area owners to create and execute energy-saving work plans within the plant. Set specific, measurable goals and implement them according to system requirements. Ensure the system passes the annual audit of the energy management system.
- Data Reporting and Budgeting: Conduct thorough energy data reporting and create annual consumption forecasts based on energy mapping and production plans. Budget for electricity, water, and natural gas, including managing power and water purchasing tasks (review PPA, power/water bill payment,..) to ensure continuous and efficient supplies for factory operations.
- Energy Assessment: Perform detailed energy assessments for production capacity expansion projects to ensure that energy use is optimized and aligned with the facility's overall energy management strategy.
- PV System Management: Oversee the maintenance and operation of the PV panel system. Own the operation procedures and manage the performance of contractors in coordination with the Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) partner to ensure the system delivers at its optimal condition.
- Regulatory Compliance: Serve as the primary contact person for power authorities to ensure compliance with all energy-related regulations. This includes managing energy and water efficiency, PV operations, and high-voltage/low-voltage power operations.
- Additional Tasks: Perform other tasks as assigned by the leader, contributing to the overall success and sustainability goals of the facility.
Play your part in our team succeeding
- Major in Energy Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Energy Efficiency Standards Familiarity.
- Fluent written and oral English (B2) & Vietnamese.
Working Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy management or a related field, with comprehensive knowledge of PV systems or other renewable energy operations.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful energy management strategies.
- Experience with ISO50001 certification (preferable) or other energy management-related standards, demonstrating a commitment to industry best practices.
- Experience with LEED certification, showcasing expertise in sustainable building practices.
- Experience in multinational companies, providing a global perspective on energy management.
- Manufacturing experience (preferable), highlighting familiarity with industrial energy use.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in energy management software and tools, enabling efficient monitoring and optimization of energy use.
- In-depth knowledge of energy-efficient technologies and renewable energy systems, ensuring the implementation of cutting-edge solutions.
Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, essential for identifying and addressing energy inefficiencies.
- Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights, driving continuous improvement.
Communication & stakeholder management Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitating clear and effective information exchange.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Experience in budgeting and financial analysis, supporting cost-effective energy management.
