Core responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for keeping the site align with all health and safety regulations defined by law and company internal procedures. You will be developing and implementing policies and practices to identify/mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace.

More over, your responsibilities will involve:

  • Direct people leadership and support of the team to foster team development
  • Keep and maintain IMS system (OHSAS, ISO 14001).
  • Accountable for accidents investigation and liaising with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence.
  • Providing advice and training on safety protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance with organization and government standards related to employee heath and safety.
  • Maintaining and analyzing records of workplace injuries, illness, and absences to identify areas of concern and provide information required by regulatory agencies.
  • Driving and participation in various safety projects relevant for a factory workplace

Our EHS department ensures a safe and healthy work environment by implementing safety protocols, monitoring compliance with health and environmental regulations, and conducting regular risk assessments. We aim to prevent workplace accidents, minimize environmental impact, and provide training to employees on safety practices.

Do you have what it takes?

  • You possess strong partner management skills with a natural ability to connect people and foster collaboration
  • You are known for a strategic approach, with the capacity to align diverse perspectives toward common goals
  • Strong professional leadership including personal drive and initiative, excellent decision-making skills, and proven ability to build trust
  • Proven manufacturing experience, preferably from EHS, facility, maintenance or similar area
  • Fluent English as well as Czech language are needed for this role

What would be an advantage:

  • Certification in H&S system (Identification of hazards/risks certification)
  • People leading experience
  • Fire protection management knowledge
