The QEHS area focuses primarily in to work and ensure Safe and Quality processes, and to drive World Class Safety and Culture in our workplace, detecting opportunity areas in the processes and working to improve them in order to achieve better results.
Core Responsibilities :
- Documentation control of evidence of EHS legal requirements of current legislation and official authorizations from government authorities.
- Chemical handling management (SDS interpretation, SGA administration)
- Provide support and follow-up to internal customer requirements appropriate to the action plan of the areas involved.
- Schedule meetings between those responsible for actions and suppliers and keep a record of agreements.
- Share the information required for legal compliance with suppliers and authorized personnel through the appropriate means according to the type of information.
Do you have what it takes?
- Temporal Position (8 months).
- Industrial or Chemical Engineering or similar. (Apply a recent graduate).
- At least 1 year of experience in EHS processes.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office in Excel, Power Point, Word and SAP system. Basic knowledge of current legislation on Environment, Health and Safety. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proactivity Analytical thinking. Communication and problem-solving skills. High ethical and moral values.
- English Beginner- Level.
Note: This position is based at our LEGO Operaciones de Mexico manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores, NL This is not a remote position.
