Do you want to drive excellence in E2E product technology development?
Bring your electronics, broad business understanding and leadership skills to the table, and help shape executive level product technology decisions for the LEGO Group!
You will be heading up a small central team overseeing how we plan, resource and make trade-offs on the development of technology in our product portfolio – hardware, software and firmware. You will be helping teams, leaders and Technology Project Managers across our engineering teams in product development, process engineering and external manufacturing to set clear priorities, resource effectively against those – and then to execute development and scaling effectively, addressing risks and impediments along the way.
Core Responsibilities
- Facilitate end-to-end planning, decision making and strategic alignment of the portfolio of technology in LEGO products – hardware, software and firmware
- Build visibility for executive stakeholders on progress, risks and costs of the technology portfolio
- Establish clear decision criteria, decision process, documentation and business case requirements for portfolio decision making – elevating the focus on Return of Investment and technology resource trade-offs
- Own and develop the Technology Development Process for product technology – designed for platform thinking, end-to-end effectiveness, quality and risk management
- Lead a team of 5 portfolio and process specialists within technology - as part of a Portfolio Management team managing the full product portfolio for the LEGO Group

You will join the Portfolio Management team in our Product & Marketing Development organization, a team enabling planning and executive decision making of the LEGO product portfolio - through:
- Facilitating strategic decision-making and establishing targets balancing strategic and commercial objectives, development capacity and operational constraints.
- Enabling effective resource planning and portfolio trade-offs to be made at the right time, by the right people, balancing business value, workload and risk
- Building and developing E2E business processes and portfolio systems, designed for simplicity, effective collaboration and team empowerment.
- Re-defining how we work to empower cross organizational teams to deliver innovation and business value in a dynamic environment
Do you have what it takes?
- Experience: Extensive experience in electronics development at scale from early ideation to full scale production; having established effective processes and structures for development and scaling
- Leadership and Communication: Demonstrated leadership, executive stakeholder engagement, decision-making, and excellent communication skills.
- Collaboration and Adaptability: Strong collaborator with both functional experts and senior stakeholders; adept at navigating complex innovation environments and creating both structure and room for innovation
- Additional Qualities: Strong financial acumen, continuous improvement mindset, and someone who thrives in team-oriented settings.
