Our team is at the forefront of delivering exceptional consumer engagement and support globally. Delivering engaging experiences for our LEGO Communities requires a growing focus on social media interaction, engagement with kids on our owned platforms and gaming communities, providing proactive shopper assistance, and fostering two-way engagement at various touchpoints.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a prioritized roadmap for China community engagement, delivering measurable results that support audience needs and commercial priorities
  • Support China digital transformation and leverage local trends, platforms and cultural needs, through fostering best in class engagement and moderation across earned, owned and shared communities (including but not limited to social media platforms, apps, fandom communities and creator relationships)
  • Implement a robust measurement framework to demonstrate the value and impact of our efforts in China; Identify and implement opportunities to nudge consumers to ecosystem touchpoints and support LEGO membership and personalization strategies
  • Embody the voice of the LEGO consumer / community needs and advocate relentlessly for initiatives that will contribute to China business growth and brand representation, working closely with our Global Community Engagement and Sandbox Senior Manager and local China Innovation Lead, to ensure the right pilots and projects are prioritized
  • Collaborate closely with Global Community Management and Moderation colleagues, Consumer and Shopper Engagement functions, local China marketing team, agencies and partners, to unlock mutual opportunities and deliver on cross-functional needs

Do you have what it takes?

  • Significant experience in a similar role within a sophisticated, global organization, with extensive background and community engagement experience across local digital platforms, social media, apps, fandom and creator relationships
  • Deep cultural understanding of the China market, including audience needs and behaviors, platform capabilities and nuances, effective ways of working and cultural relevancies
  • Proven people leadership experience, with the ability to empower, inspire and support high performing teams to deliver against meaningful business goals
  • Highly accomplished in supervising and identifying trends and knowledge of / ability to evaluate platforms, tools and partners that can help the LEGO Group advance its digital consumer and shopper engagement experiences
  • Strong awareness of consumer and shopper needs and behaviors across digital platforms, with the ability to identify the right actions and initiatives to engage, sustain and drive consideration in these audiences
  • Familiarity with online / child safety considerations, risk assessment and mitigation strategies in digital worlds, including collaborating with relevant partners to effectively manage and mitigate crisis comms and issues management scenarios
  • Ability to positively influence and drive impact through effective partner management, collaboration, presentation and communication skills
  • Proficient in both Chinese and English
