Keen to champion tailored marketing investment strategies to fuel the growth of LEGO's Business Units, maximising sharp analytical insights and close collaboration with marketing leadership teams?
Help us turn insights into impactful marketing decisions!
Core Responsibilities:
Orchestrate marketing investment plans for 2-3 Business Units, ensuring their strategies support regional financial goals and the overall company strategy.
Optimise Return on Marketing Invested (ROMI) with tailored strategies that reflect the unique demands of each Business Unit (factoring particularly Occasions and specific brand Equity in markets).
Work in partnership with BU’s to translate global calendar into BU marketing plan and stay up to speed on BU plan changes.
Analyse internal data and leverage insights from data science teams to advise strategic budget allocations in the absence of marketing mix modeling.
Advise Business Units on budget management to enhance marketing effectiveness and meet strategic priorities.
Work closely with marketing leadership to integrate Business Units' needs into broader Regional Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP) process.
Maintain clear communication and transparency.
Proactively handle risks associated with marketing plans, formulating adaptive strategies to meet Business Units' growth targets.
Set tailored marketing spend guidelines that resonate with regional norms yet cater to the specific needs of the Business Units.

In the unique setup of small business clusters, the BU Marketing Investment Planning Manager plays a crucial role in bridging local market nuances with regional strategic objectives. This individual will not only drive the marketing momentum of individual Business Units but will also ensure that their investments are astutely aligned with The LEGO Group’s overarching goals, driving maximum efficiency and impact.
Do you have what it takes?
Minimum 6 years of experience in marketing investment planning, preferably within a multi-business unit environment.
Solid understanding of data analytics, financial modelling, and investment optimization in marketing.
Experience in strategic planning with the ability to guide investment decisions in line with corporate objectives.
Able to handle various internal and external partners, capable of building constructive relationships with marketing leadership and cross-functional teams.
Agile and adaptable to changing market conditions and internal demands.
Experience working closely with data science teams or similar resources to guide decision-making in data-rich environments.
Effective collaborator with experience in shared resource settings, balancing the needs of multiple Business Units
