Do you aspire to become an expert in enabling self-service data analytics for individuals and teams to become better at planning their work?

We are looking for our first Analytics Engineer student worker who is ready to learn and apply their experience as an active member of the Program Management team in LEGO Building Experience & Virtual Master Assets department within LEGO Design and from there also work in close collaboration with the Data Insights product team within the Data Platform organization. Core Responsibilities  

You will join a team of skilled and kind colleagues in LBX Program Management – a team which is driving and supporting the journey to become even more data driven in our task flow management and planning. You will be creating and rolling out Power BI solutions to support workflow, capacity and demand planning on individual level, scrum team level and department level across multiple functional teams. You will have close collaboration with business stakeholders and departments working with data across the LEGO Group.  

Your responsibilities will be to: 

Your main responsibility is to team up with senior team members and in time act as our in-house expert for Power BI, work together with key internal users of our self-service solutions and be a sparring partner for other Data Specialists and Engineers. Assess different business areas’ use cases and maintain standards on how to source, model and visualize their data. 

Lead and provide input to initiatives to help define the right data modelling and visualization approach and deliver tangible results quickly.

As part of LBX Program Management Team you will be able to impact our journey of becoming more data-driven in our decision making – and in practice it means you will impact teams of total +120 people to better succeed planning the work on short and long term to deliver world class LEGO Building Experiences and digital assets. 
This student worker role is located in our offices in Billund, Innovation House and LEGO Campus, Denmark and It is a prerequisite that you are enrolled in an educational institution during your employment. We expect candidates to have 15 hours of working time on average weekly. 

Do you have what it takes?  

Ideally, you are pursuing a degree in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Business Analysis, Business Economics or similar. You have some completed courses and have hands-on experience using tools such as PowerBI or Databricks. You also have advanced skills in speaking and writing in English. 

It would be an absolute bonus to have: 

  • Good collaboration & problem solving skills.  

  • Solid SQL and/or Python experience. 

  • Experience with data modelling, building and optimizing ETL pipelines. 

  • Experience in training and providing documentation for customers. 

  • Experience working within an Agile environment.
