Build your own LEGO® tower
When building a LEGO® tower there are endless possibilities – you can a build a castle, a skyscraper, or just see how many bricks you can stack until your tower topples!
Steps
- Step 1
Sketch a design
Think about the design of your tower, will it be tall? Draw it out so you know what your LEGO® tower will look like.
- Step 2
Build a base
You can use a LEGO® baseplate if you have one or create one from bricks.
- Step 3
Create the foundations
Lay the basic foundation for your tower. The easiest shape is a simple square of four bricks – but a wider base might be more supportive.
- Step 4
Build your tower up
Top tip: Remember, you don’t need to follow straight lines. Towers often build up to a point. At the top, you could stack your bricks into a triangle shape.
- Step 5
Finishing touches!
If you’re building a castle, you can add flags, turrets, dragons, princes or princesses. If you’re building a more modern design, you could add clocks, satellite dishes or an antenna. It’s up to you!
