Build a superhero photography studio
Every superhero needs an iconic portrait photo. One with super moody lighting – so they look mega powerful but really deep, emotionally. That’s your job: superhero photographer. Let’s get you set up.

Build a superhero
Go through your minifigure parts and create your own superhero.
- Step 2
Gather your equipment
You’ll need a camera or smartphone, a desk lamp, some white card, and some LEGO® bricks.
- Step 3
Get set up
Build a stack of LEGO bricks for your superhero to stand on. Put the lamp behind them and off to one side. Then fold a small piece of white card and put it in front of your hero – that’s called a reflector. When you’re ready, turn off all the other lights in the room and close the curtains.
- Step 4
Take photos of your superhero
Hold the camera so you’re looking up at your superhero. That’ll make them look extra heroic. Then move your lamp around to get the lighting just right. Get your superhero to strike an awesome pose and then – snap!
