Unique Holiday Table Setting Ideas

Create a truly unique Christmas table setting with some of the LEGO® holiday sets! We’ll show you how to combine sets to brickify your table setting.

Whether you’re a wreath-lover, candle devotee, or someone who’s never considered organizing decorations as well as all that food, everyone has their own plans for the holiday table. But this year, what about trying something a bit more... brick-themed?

Hear us out – these seasonal LEGO sets for adults, combined with your creativity, are going to take your table to dizzying merry heights...

Santa’s little helpers

The North Pole may be powered by an army of helpers, but you’ll only need three to make your tabletop winter wonderful dreams come true. Together, they’ll add a red, gold and green glow-up to your table – whatever your style.

First, the Wreath (10340). This iconic holiday set can be stretched out straight, forming an attractive table runner, or displayed in its traditional shape or as a garland. Pose the holly leaves for the perfect look, and customize with red, blue or white berries to suit your color scheme.

Prefer flowers? Then the vibrant petals of the classic Poinsettia (10370) are perfect, adding a splash of botanical color to any display – without you having to remember to water it, bonus! Best of all, the poinsettia symbolizes good will, bringing positive vibes to your table!

Finally, meet the Christmas Table Decoration (40743). Representing the warmth and light of the holidays, this smaller build’s red candle, red berries, golden stars and green foliage capture the season’s traditional side, and give us all the warm and fuzzy feelings, too.

Now comes the big question: how do you display these festive favorites on your holiday table? And how can you adapt them to suit your style? Try out these ideas...

Fancy a classic holiday tablescape? Then you’ll want greenery – and lots of it! Place the Wreath (10340) in the middle of the table with the Poinsettia (10370) inside it as a natural centerpiece. You could leave it there, but for something extra (and the festive season is a time for extra, right?), dot a few of the Christmas Table Decorations (40743) around the edges of the wreath to create an elegant, traditional look. Add a final touch of flair with a red, green or gold tablecloth or runner, and there you have it – a classic holiday display sure to impress even the most opinionated guest.

The Modern Minimalist

For a chic, stylish effect, stretch the Wreath (10340) out straight to form a contemporary-style table runner, lining it down the middle of your table. Now it’s time to make things interesting, by using the wreath’s customizable berries to complete your look. Want a striking snowy tablescape? Then keep the berries all white to match and leave out the dried fruits. Or if warm and cozy is more your style, add all the oranges and choose red berries to brighten up the display.

If you like things truly simple, use the Poinsettia (10370) to add a single pop of color to your table. A single red flower placed on a raised plinth makes for a great centerpiece!

The Festive Fun Zone

If kids are coming along to your festive celebration, then there’ll be sticky fingers and curious hands all over your LEGO sets before dinner has even started. So why not lean into the chaos and get the family involved with building, too?

Suggest a Christmas Eve activity where the kids work on building Poinsettas (10370) for the big day (with some adult help, of course). Or score yourself some peace and quiet while you prep the dinner by leaving the Wreath (10340) in pieces on the table for guests to build. You could even turn it into a Christmas game and take turns to time each other to see who can make a Christmas Table Decoration (40743) the quickest!

Fancy making your own crackers this year? Decorate them with the Christmas Ornament Selection (40744), getting kids, friends or family to help make each one. Or build them in advance to include as the gifts inside – a cracker of an idea, we think you’ll agree!

So, if you’re looking to bring the joy of LEGO® building into your home this holiday, why not make it one of these satisfying seasonal sets? However you decide to display your holiday collectibles, we’re sure your festive table will be a wonder to behold. Merrrrrry Christmas, folks!
