Building our presence, one brick at a time. Meet Claire 👋
As a Senior Director of National Accounts, Claire leads a team with a mission: to ensure LEGO® products are accessible to as many children as possible. Together, they share a passion for spreading the joy of LEGO play.
"My team sells LEGO® products to major national customers in the US like Kohl's, Dollar General, Costco, and Barnes & Noble. We make sure kids can find their favourite LEGO sets on the shelves of lots of different stores that sell toys. Essentially, it’s our job to bring LEGO play to more children as we continue to expand into new channels with new customers. I'm especially passionate about opening up new channels and customers that reach children and families we may not have reached before."
Claire's team is a diverse group, with colleagues ranging from new hires to seasoned veterans with over three decades of experience. Despite their differences, the team functions seamlessly, thanks to a culture of collaboration and support.
"The more experienced colleagues of the team take an active role in our newer members' onboarding, help them navigate the organisation, and try to make them feel like part of the team from day one."
For Claire, working at the LEGO Group is more than just a job. It's a way to contribute to a mission that resonates with her own values.
"I’ve seen the positive impact of LEGO play in my own children's development. So the prospect of playing a role in bringing that to more children was very exciting. The LEGO Group was on my list of dream employers for a long time. When the new Boston hub location was announced, I saw my chance to make it a reality."
As a working mother of three, Claire appreciates the supportive culture and emphasis on work-life balance.
"I really appreciate the value the company places on children and families, and the flexibility and support provided to me as a working mother of 3 children. Knowing I’m supported in prioritising the needs of my family when necessary, eliminates a major source of stress."
“Our ‘Best of Both’ hybrid work model has been instrumental in supporting my work-life balance. It gives me what I need to manage my schedule, while also enjoying the many benefits of in-person collaboration and team building.”
Claire's job isn't just selling toys. It's about making a positive impact on children's lives.
"The work my team and I do is genuinely inspiring. We are directly supporting a mission to develop the builders of tomorrow. What could feel better than knowing you’re helping kids reach their potential. Who knows where that could lead them?”
