Build your own LEGO® snowflakes

Steps

• Step 1

  Gather your bricks

  

  You can look for white and blue pieces or get creative and make snowflakes of any color.
• Step 2

  Make your snowflakes

  

  1. Start with a rigid shape in the middle of your snowflake, such as a circle.
  2. Form the six arms of the snowflake (don’t forget to use the same six pieces here) and try to build outwards from the circle in a symmetrical pattern.
  3. Add corner pieces onto the back of the snowflake arms to make little branches.
  4. Use transparent pieces to add an icy sparkle.

  Top tip:Why not experiment using hinge plates to curve the sides of your snowflake?
• Step 3

  Time to decorate

  

  Attach some ribbon so they can hang on door handles or add some thin white thread, so they look like snowflakes falling from the sky.
